hey folks.. this question just came to my mind.. i dunno whether it has been answered before...

if a player plays says 90 (in game 1) + 45 (in game 2) = 135 mins in a week, does he get more training than if he wud have played 90 mins in one game???

If yes, then is it at a same % or at a much lower rate?

From the rules section:

A player who played in the same position (ie, as a def) twice during the week will train better than one who played in only one game. Similarly, a player who played in an official match will train better than one who just played in a friendly. If a player played in two different positions during the week, the last match counts. The benefit of playing a player with the same match order twice is small - they will receive near full training by playing 1 match. If they play only in an international, they will receive around 33% of the normal training. Players do not receive training in extra time as they are too tired.

Did antone else have problems with substitutions this week???
I had set a substitution for the 80th min. if I lead by atleast 2 goals.
The condition was satisfied around the 85th but the substitution never happened.
Luckily it didn't affect the outcome.

Also how come my ranking points fell even after I won the Cup last week???

#1: I think the subs come into effect at exact the same moment u have planned. So in ur case, if u wud have been 2 goals up in the 80th minute, the sub wud have happened....

#2: Even i noticed the same... my ranking points were changed 3 times last week... rose when i won against unsinkables, and then dropped, rose again when i lost my friendly...

I'm sorry but u're wrong.
In previous matches I've set orders for the 1st min itself, but the substitution has taken place in the 2nd half.

Ohh ok.....

Coming to substitutions, i have another question..
Can we move the players from one position to another as part of my substitutions??? Like say for example can i swap one MID for an ATT while both are on the pitch???
2009-03-01 09:48:19
I should think so although I've never tried. Although you will need to make 2 orders.
Say A is in position 6 and B in 10 and you want to swap them..
Then set the time and condition.
Select B and position 6.Select A and position 10.

But remember that A will continue to play as a MID in position 10 and B will continue to play as an ATT in position 6.

Ohhh ok...

Thanks for the info...
I will try tat in this week's friendly..

Back to the rankings, after Sunday my points went up by 28 but the arrow is pointing down??
2009-03-03 11:15:19
Only red card, yellow card and slight injury are checked in every break of the match.
All other conditions are for that minute.

Maybe the arrows are based on the entire week...
Like if u have lost (in the NFL game) and gained points (in the midweek game) in the week, but the gain is less than the losses, u will have a down arrow even though u did 'gain' points at the end of the friendly.... Just a thought...

The arrow is based on the amount of points of the Monday before.
You can see Hoodibaba has slightly less points then Monday a week ago.

I have a query regarding set pieces...
What are the skills which are used when taking penalties or free kicks?
