What are the skills which are used when taking penalties or free kicks?

Depends on the position of the free kick.

When it is near the goal, you need striking. Else you need playmaking and most of all passing.

This is why a lot of teams do not appoint a single player to take free kicks. Because when you chose your best passer to take it and the position is near the opponents goal, he will take a shot at it and fail probably. There you would like your striker to take the free kick.

So that means whoever is nearest to the ball will take the free kick right??

I won my last game by default. without actually the match happening. What about the training? Will the ones set in order receive training?

Yes everything will be the same as a normal match.
