Subject: questions 4 prospective NT managers

2006-11-14 19:25:17
Hoodibaba to All
i would like 2 know what u thought of India's performance last season....where we went wrong, how we can improve, and what are your strategies 4 this season?
2006-11-14 21:59:28
First of all I must say that the former NT manager took on a massive task in this Group E with Espana, Portugal, Romania , Srbija en Cymru.
Spain is a big country in Sokker. Romania has proven to be a very rapidly growing country in the last 2 seasons, Portugal and Serbija are in fact one or two sizes to big for India.
Only Cymru seemed a nation who could've been beaten, but the team has a great goalie and a team without any weak spots in front of him.
That's an explanation for the zero points, but not for the 81 goals the opponents scored. I think the National coach didn't have enough time for making a tactic for the NT of India as the tactic in the last games wasn't changed. The other countries had an all clear to take advantages on the space on the wings and the static 4 midfielders.

Database :
The first thing on the program is to make a database in which I need input from all the active Indian coaches and if possible the former NT coach
We'll put together a list of the best players of India and the most promising young players. Only with good youngsters India will have a future in Sokker.
We all should make sure these young players are trained at their weaknesses, preferably at Indian clubs. It's my job to keep track of the players and their updates.

Staff :
Of course I will need a staff of people from India, who will help me in choosing players. Total staff of 5 people maximum, to keep short communication lines.
The following positions in the NT are considered : National Coach, Head-assistent (2x), Scout, Public Relations/Recruitment assistant.
Public Relations become very important as India's community has to grow in order to make the NT stronger in the long run.
The current active coaches have to make sure they'll get promoted as quick as possible to the highest National Football League, if needed with my advice.
This way the Indian competition becomes more competitive and fun in order to keep current and new coaches interested in the game.

For the games of the National Team :
As a NT coach I will look at the games of the opponent and make the appropriate tactic, which I will discuss with my staff (and not on the Forum as our opponents can spy on us)
The formation varies on the strength of the opponent. In most games India will be the underdog, so a firm defense with a defending midfielder is a must.
Many times the positioning at set pieces decide a match, so I always put the emphasis on set-play.

Next season goals :
In the qualification matches you can't expect miracles from the NT. One win must be possible, and also no more than 60 goals against in the 10 matches.
Friendly games must be played as much as possible, against nations that are comparable with the level of India to see where we stand and what progress we make.

If one of the Indian players has any question, feel free to ask me in this topic or by SK-mail. I like the Indian community to be very involved !
In a few seasons one of you should be able to take over.

Kind Regards
De Generaal

Sounds like you're the only one with a plan so far.
If anyone really plans on being India's NT manager i suggest you'll let us know in detail of your plans.

Current season will be very important.
Friendly matches which will be played will decide about the players who became future of the NT.
In India there are only 15 active users. It`s very important to select young players from 3. Division and cap them.
If the player has at least one cap he will be transfered in case of erasing his team; like Sebastián Morales Martínez - in fact he`s totally forget gk of Spain NT.
If we want to have stronger NT there is need to sold such players to better leauges, where coaches staff are better.
Besides it, I would like to promote Indian forum among experienced users from Poland, who can help to became Indian SK stronger.
There are more people in Green-Black Federation who will glad to help me and you. There will be created the forum of NT, where will be discussion about matches and NT. On mondays or tuesdays there will be introduced tactical analyse of NT and single players.
I would like to cooperate with all Indian users and help you with all matters.
The most important is to self training to improve tactics. With my staff I would like to show you some of good tactics.

For your information : when players have at least 1 cap (game for NT), they will automatically put up for sale when playing in an erased team.

In my opinion it isn't very encouraging for Indian users to sell there NT-player after 1 game. If the head-coach has a high enough level at the skill the NT-player is trained he can stay at the club team.

Last sesaon was 1 season for India. In hard Group India dont have a chance to promotion to WC.We must find this season young, talented player to qual. next WC.Maybe your wrong was a tactics(no much defensive).

If i stay Coach India,I'd like to contribute with all users for India.Bulid a Database, and find Indian players too abroad(i hopes i will find somwhere).Very important will be a friendly match, thanks him will be have a biggest traning.

In this season i have interesting idea...

2 season ago, nationality which dont qual to World Cup,Bulid a Mini World Cup,an rule series fiendly match...I would like to bulid this Cup in this season:)

I`m telling about players, who can be anihilated in case of erasing team. In your opinion is it better to sack them then selling to another country?

For welfare of Indian NT it`s better to train them in clubs, which have very good coach staffs. It`s a chance for such players to train faster - and it`s an advantage for NT.

I wrote about it in my post.

I'm telling you they won't be annihilated...
Who's talking about sacking ? I'm talking about training them at an Indian club.
You aren't making much sense as you contradict yourself.

I agree with you on the fact that at clubs with bigger staff the NT-players are trained quicker, but when a player is put on sale it's not guaranteed he ends up at such a big club.
In the end the Indian managers are more devoted in training Indian players.

training this team will not be easy. we need a full database, and to update it every week. I think the community will be very important.
India will often play against stronger teams: our difference will be made by TACTICAL. every match will be prepared (by me or by who'll be elected) with hours and hours of work. every match of the opposite team has to be studied and seen several times, in order to write on a map the position of the opposite players, and then we'll create a specifical tactical scheme!
we'll play for a draw with the medium-big teams, and to win against the small teams...!

...let's see... and let's vote :)

in my post:

I wrote it before your post, so... :>

imo it will be better solution to train them in foreign clubs because of their coach staff - more often random pops, more often pops of trained skills - you should know it and I think that currently it`s very difficult for Indian users to have such coach staff.
2006-11-16 12:16:50
what else should i say? in order to provide a good future to the NT, the solution is great investment in young players, selling the players to good teams where they will be provided better training. it is very important to keep a good control of the players abroad, helped by scouts and spies, and also keep a good control of young people. it must be an investment for longterm, not only for the next world championship.
2006-11-16 13:00:32
Whoever the coach is, development will be key as well getting more ATtention to India - this can be achieved in many ways - play with absurd tactics with good results or just play old advertising (mention india everywhere). that way managers will be more aware of india it will help when scouting for players and training them.
2006-11-17 00:06:29
On the outlook for upcoming season - India is a relatively weak team, so that there are significant chances that we come against opponents much better than us. Thats they way it is, But it is important to win as many as you possibly can and minimise losses - otherwise other managers from other country wont be impressed.

We need impress other managers with our style of play, drawing a match against Poland is very difficult, but poland (unless its a crucial match- highly unlikely with Poland) will never play their first X1 against India (they shouldnt and they wont unless again its crucial game..),, that presents us some oppurtinity for a draw.

Whether you play your best players against them, suppose you have other teams in your group that about the same skills as your players, then it would be better your full strength team against the weaker teams, and about same strength to gaurantee wins, rather take the risk of injuring, disqualify etc your star players and reducing their fitness against a higher ranked team where a loss is imminent.

Just my style of thinking on the way the manager of india should approach the task.

In my opinion radek123 choice to the coach of India wasn't an evil with move. If you choose me I promise that you won't lose on it much on the contrary you will make a profit a lot. I will be trying to play with young people and I will be organising competitions.
