In my opinion all are useless.
What was their skill & talent in th ejr. school
If your jrs. do not loook like they will reach a certain min. skill then you should sack them instead of wasting money training them. Below is what I use as a reference:
16 - atleast good
17 - atleast solid
18 - atleast excellent
19 - atleast formidable
20 - atleast incredible
21 - atleast brilliant

Anything above this is awesome but if you want atleast a decent trainable player, don't train anyone that looks like they will have a skill level below this when they get pulled.

I agree all are useless and not worth training.

16 yo - good
17yo - solid
18yo - good

Unfortunately the competence don't match up to the skill :)

The 16 yo and 18 yo can be trained and make it to u21 team...

Yep, I saw it. But usually they are not bad players... Because they can gain value playing for u21...

I plan to train Manyam in place of Uttara, who i shall be selling.

Manyam would be a good striker in the future

I think his tech is too low to train as a striker.
To train him as a striker he needs additional tach training which he won't need as much as if you train him as a def.
Better to train Def + Pace instead of Striker + Pace + Tech.
