I think his tech is too low to train as a striker.
To train him as a striker he needs additional tach training which he won't need as much as if you train him as a def.
Better to train Def + Pace instead of Striker + Pace + Tech.

I would agree.

Excellent striker skill for a defender is total waste, instead for a striker high defense is very useful.

Better as a striker for sure, also economically is more convenient...

Karkada is the best gk prospect for u21 team.
Sarath could be trained as defender, Jaspal as striker.
