I dont know if you guys noticed this, but just when I felt that nothing could be worse than my youth academy, this week I find juniors who have dropped a level. May be this is not a bug either, but I somehow feel I have absolutely no clues about this game anymore.

In this new system the coach has to see the Juniors play matches to make a good judgement on their skills.
Will be strange in the beginning, but an advantage is that we know the age of the Junior who comes out. For example a Junior with a low skill-level and 18 year old with at least 2 age updates (end of the season) to go, can be sacked quicker now.

Indeed, at the bottom of the Junior team you can apply for the Junior league.
All teams that apply start at the lowest level.

But then does the new system have juniors popping to lower levels as well?? So kind of negative pops. I do understand the advantages of having the GK/ Outfield and the age being displayed. But still didnt understand the rationale for the negative pops. Kindly elaborate, Sir.

The coach can't see the exact level of the Juniors yet. It is said that after they have played some Junior matches it will be better.
You can ignore the negative pops.
