Subject: Current Situation in Israel Sokker Community

FYI, i was the admin who banned gilb, after a unanimous vote on the admin forum. He even admitted to a part of it after initially denying it and then being confronted with a part of the proof.

Please know that the proof we had was unquestionable, and we examined it carefully. Of course we do our best to ensure fairness in all punishments for ALL users. But for someone that has invested the amount of time that Gilb has, we always do our best to be absolutely sure. And we are in this case.

He made a mistake, was punished for it, and can rejoin after the normal period per the rules.

I understand that certain users are gloating about this, and i will get translations from aviv as the current staff member on any of this and will act appropriately per forum rules and users' histories.

In addition, i understand the horrible dynamic between certain users here and it has to stop. You're poisoning the atmosphere within this community and it will not be tolerated. I don't normally speak publically about this stuff. However, since this has been is widespread and is already so public, i will do so in this case. Many of those involved have multiple bannings and this has progressed to the point where fines and eventual game bans will become appropriate if this doesn't stop.

I regret that ani lo midaber evrit acceptably any more (never could read without vowels anyway). However, i will rely on aviv as the current moderator to understand hebrew and inform me of issues. If he doens't notice something, please point it out to him. If he doesn't act in a way you find appropriate (which i doubt as he has my trust), contact me with a translation and i will help as well. Of course, please know that i will verify both the translation and the context of the post.

Really, i just want those involved with this ridiculous nonsense to just stop talking to eachother or about eachother and play the game for its own enjoyment. When it sacrifices the enjoyment of others or otherwise breaks the rules, i will act appropriately.


I welcome any comments in general about my guidance here in this thread, and in English. Please do NOT bring up others who are involved and discuss who you like or don't like or who isn't acting appropriately. Please DEFINITELY do not bring up old history that was already dealt with in bannings, here or via sk-mail. I will not be readdressing old issues.

Thanks, and i truly regret having to post like this. I'm just trying to help fix the dynamic so others can enjoy this game and we can avoid this unpleasantness in the future.

first of al thank you for your post, i dont think the admins usually do this with "regualr" situations".

as far as i know,
the only thing that gilb did was to enter matanb team, with matanb premission,
an act that we have recentlly known to be otherized by some admins in poland or elsewhere in this game, i also know that this act is curentlly discussed in you MOD / adm forum and you need to descide what
to do with such acts.

i guess that you wont give us more information about this case, unfourtinatlly (i have no idea how to write this word :) )
so we are all kind of left in the dark about this,
that will probably cause some threads / talks about this and would "give" this case
more "weight" than should be,
or do you intend to tell us what, by your information as a result of your tools or gilb's admittion,
really happend?

he did more than just log in, and he did not have matanb permission to log in for that matter, he had the password from 3 years ago by his own admission.

This has ABSOLUTELY no resemblance to the stuff going on with the polish user(s) who log in once in a while to do a favor for a friend...

i liked gilb. i added him to staff. I knew him better than others in the community.

Everyone who jumps to these conclusions that we admins do bizarrely random, or uneducated, or just plain wrong things should consider why i would POSSIBLY want to publically remove from staff and ban someone who was helping us in Israel?

גיל בהתחלה הכחיש אבל מאוחר יותר הודע בחלק מהדברים(תרגום שלי" סביר להניח בזה שהייתה לו את הסיסמא של מתן והוא נכנס לו מספר פעמים בהסכמתו של מתן)

אני רוצה שתדעו שההוכחה הייתה חד משמעית והם בדקו אותה היטב
הם דואגים שכולם יקבלו יחס דומה אבל משהוא שהשקיע כל כך הרבה בקהילה כמו שגיל השקיע אנחנו עושים אפילו יותר מאמץ להיות בטוחים

הוא עשה טעות הוענש על זה ויוכל לחזור ברגע שהעונש יגמר

אני מבין שחלק מהמשתמשים שמחים לאיד על המקרה של גיל
אבל הוא מצפה מגל לקבל תרגומים של מה שהנוגעים בדבר רשמו והם יענשו בהתאם

כמו כן הוא מבין את הדינמיקה הדפוקה שיש פה בין המשתמשים וזה חייב להפסיק
אתם מרעילים את האוירה בקהילה ואני לא אסבול התנהגות כזאת
אני בדרך כלל לא מדבר בפומבי על נושאים כאלה אבל במקרה הזה אני בכל זאת אדבר בגלל שבמקרה הזה הכל כבר באויר הפתוח ופומבי כך שכולם רואים
לרבים מהמעורבים יש כבר באנים רבים בנושא זה כבר כל כך התפתח שבכוונתנו לתת דוחות כספיים ובאנים מהמשחק(בעזרת השם יעשו לנו טובה)

הוא מצטער שהוא לא מדבר עברית אבל הוא סומך על גל שכן שיתרגם לו את מה שצריך וידע להתנהג ולתת עונשים בהתאם
אם הוא לא יעשה את זה כמו שצריך פה הוא רושם שהוא לא מאמין זה יקרה כי יש לו את האמון בגל
אז תשלחו לו את העברה שאתם רואים עם התרגום לאנגלית והוא כמובן יבדוק את הנושא גם לאמיתותו

הוא ישמח להערות בנושא באנגלית בקשר למה שהוא רשם הוא מבקש לא לעלות האשמות ואנשים שאתם אוהבים ופחות אוהבים
אבל אל תעלו הערות מהעבר דברים שכבר המעורבים קיבלו עליהם באנים

stop with mails to the admins cuz normal ppl dont talk to admins cuz they dont need to

gil was an important factor of our community im sure after he will spend his time in a ban he will come back to his own team
