forgot to ask how old are you?
and will you agree to give users for peace?
i.e. send yellow123 to Iran for their agreement to play against us...
2009-04-28 13:43:12
I think that the current DB is pretty much the same
2009-04-28 14:16:09
lets say you do get elected, your goal is to get us higher in the reankings
and then get relelected to play the world cup.
would you use the 25-28 year old players (not 100% trained) as they are thebest at the moment
or try to use 22-24 year olds fully trained prospects?

My goal is to win the most number of match, so the best team (valuating also form, stamina) will play.

I don't think experience (that is gave a little bit in NT matches) is so important by now, so I don't really see advatanges in using young players that have got others better (and older) before them. They only risk to injury and lose trainings by playing in NT.

Anyway against some weaker countries we'll play with our second team too, also for give a prize to the managers that train their young israelian players in the right way.

I'm almost 23 years old, I'm from Naples.

What do you mean with "give users for peace"?
2009-04-28 14:20:56
I'm not sure about this. NTDB is very nice but I think it's not very user friendly. A new scout or coach needs to watch their videos to understand how to use it as best as possible.

Mine is better about this I think, and anyway it has got features like caractherès for forum and some other stats that I need to make my job as best :-)

Anyway if I'll win, we'll make a poll and community will decide which database use for us :D

?אתה בטוח שהוא יבין את השאלה

בעברית זה נשמע אחרת, ולמיטב הבנתי הוא עוד לא יודע את השפה הזאת. תשאל את לותר מתיאוס כמה זמן לוקח להבין אותנו

Dear Amido,

:) !

Welcome. Thank you for proposing to get elected as our NT coach which I am sure is done with the best and most honest intentions. It is a good and noble thing to assist and share your knowledge, especially as you are a very experienced user.

Now, be so kind and allow me to put a few points, questions and clarifications to you.
Do NOT feel obliged to answer them all... ;-)

1. The Israeli community is the most noisy, obnoxious, war-like, argumentative, know-it-all, independent and talkative community in the world... and I'm not talking merely about sokker. You think Italians are loud? lol... Italians are docile sheep compared to Israelis and we even have less manners than a rabid wolf on amphetamines. If you stick around here for a wee while, you'll get pretty annoyed and angry for merely the way we say Hello. (for example - my post is such a way...)

2. Nothing you do with the NT will ever be good enough. If you get elected, be prepared to receive constant criticism even if you win! We will even have things to say about your looks, education, city and preferences in real football. Prepare to be demolished and abused intellectually!

3. Prepare to read my extremely long posts!

4. Your English is fair, but you will find that some of us have poor English, be it because they are camels, sons of a camel or simply from Haifa. People will expect YOU to do all the hard translation work and if you fail in explaining things to them, it will be your fault. Thus, you'll need an extra good translator on your side and I'm not talking about google or babelfish.

5. Our sense of humour, especially kingbil and Yarden is known throughout the universe as being abrasive, cynical and sometimes, no, actually most times - damn rude. You'll need to be very patient when people call you the 'biggest mistake a mother ever made'!

6. You'll hear references which are extremely politically incorrect, about Israeli politics, gender issues, religion, Italy, sokker and such like. Guacamole was driven to tears and bouts of insanity only because he considered himself wise or resilient enough. Be sure to be able to take everything with a pinch of salt.

7. I'm not sure I like what you say about using the best players... here you must kiss arse to some people, or else you will not get their cooperation with the NT players... especially those in our top league (Ligat Ha'al). Are you willing and ready to do that? Besides, you will discover that the best players in Sokker Israel are not always those with the best qualities. For instance, you will see one of our strikers called by many 'xxxxx the king' who can score only 1 goal from every 50 shots. Players selection is and should not always be rational.

8. You should be very careful who you associate yourself with here. This will have direct and immediate impact on your election success or future cooperation with the community. This is why you got a few mild reactions about matanb. Community politics here can be a very dangerous thing.

9. Will you get me a date with Moran Attias? Do you know who Moran Attias is, and if not, what have you got to say for yourself?!

10. Your idea about the Database sounds great. You will get much help from our current NT coach who knows much about this and your contribution seems to be in place. However, I would like to hear a bit from you about proposed tactics, plans for regular updates and reports to the community, MOs and more. Be advised that all previous foreign NT coaches here in Israel had to work very hard to get elected and survive. If you read my post up to here, you are on the right track!

Awaiting your swift reply

Thanks a lot for your looooooooooooong post :D

That's not what I was answering but it will be nice for now :D

I'm ready to get busy, noisy, and to become insane because of you.. That's one of the nice parts of Sokker's World ^_^

For 1 to 7 of your "answers" (that aren't answers :P) I accept almost everything :P

Being serious, for the 8:

8. You should be very careful who you associate yourself with here. This will have direct and immediate impact on your election success or future cooperation with the community. This is why you got a few mild reactions about matanb. Community politics here can be a very dangerous thing.

I'm not associated with matanb, I don't associate with nobody till I don't know them :D I don't know if matanb is the most politically correct user of the world, or the opposite one. If you don't see a name into my staff by now is for that reason.

I will accept every israelian user that propose himself as scout or as helper in each way, but after some weeks (while I can know better those people) I'll make some Assistant Coach, and remake the part of each people according to the idea that I made about them.

Since metanb wrote me a skmail after my candidature for Israel NT, I asked him if he could translate my presentation message in Hebrew cause many people would understand that :) He was very kind with me, helping to translate that but by now he, and nobody, is my assistant or have got an association with me :)

2009-04-28 15:16:01
LOL

LOL

It seems that I should make it clear myself too
I don't know Amido
I tried to bring Dragster who's a friend of mine
as Amido told, i contacted him only after his candidature and I asked him if he's serious about running or just running as a joke like past foreign managers like Shadow and www.zion.com

Nice answer :)

I'll surely ask the previous coach's help for the beginning of my experience (if everything goes right :P). I think that everybody that made his job with passion, will surely help his successor for the own good of the NT ;)

My tactics are various, they always change according to my opponent as I told in the first post. So you'll see some 4-4-2 (that is my favourite tactic in real life) when I want to control the game, some 5-3-2 when I prefer to defend and start up from defense very quickly, or also 4-3-3 when we are much stronger then our opponent, or some strange tactic with no name but that works in Sokker :D

I'll always report all my actions and all my staff's staff (lol) in community, so we can make a NT of everybody. Our bigger objective is to make the most number of users possible to fall in love for NT. This is the ONLY WAY as I think to become a great team in future.

In Italy we have got a great team not only because we are 4k users, but also because we make many opportunities to live the NT world for everybody, like making some radio when the NT plays, creating competitions in the forum with prices like "your favourite player in NT for a game", etc..

For every important competition and match I'll make a great presentation of every team and of the better players of that opponent, and we'll post few time before the match the capped players like I showed before in the presentation topic of the weekly match.

For the regular updates of players, I'll make as I said some scouts, minimum one for each position (GK, DEF, MID, ATT). They'll work with me with database, and they must contact owners of players on Thursday that aren't updated since 30 days for let us know if they got some pops in new skills.

Sorry that was an italianism :D

As I wrote my english must improve, and that's an occasion for that :D

Ok now I searched on Google... Oh my god :D Not bad ^_^
