Israel faces Uruguay in what seems to be a close match :)

Yes... so bad that 7 players in Israel's defence can not stop them. Maybe two more would have helped...
Yes :) it's not a brilliant tactic by Uruguay but Israel's tactics is also dire.

nice comeback and fair result.
Uruguay played well just in attack, their strikers were positioned just between Israel's wing backs and central defs.
But in defence, woaha :)) huge spaces between defs, they just can't defend this way...
and in midfield, all the midfield job was on the shoulders of their def mid. after he went to replace the eliminated def, there was a huge empty space in mid :))

Israel tactic was good, but you need some 2 key-players for this kind of tactic: the defensive midfield should be a complete player, with def minimum incredible and also good offensive skills, to pass the ball to winger or strikers
and also the 2 wing backs, should be Polska style :) with high secondaries, not to be tackled and to pass the ball to the strikers.
it worked pretty well, right wing back had an assist :)

I think that it was a far too defensive tactics influenced heavily because Eddie is a chicken! :) He heard all week rumours about Reguiro and decided to have 7 :O defensive players. Of course it didn't help much because our defenders are just too weak and the formation allowed them to be overtaken by the Uruguayan attack. Only because our GK is so great we didn't lose heavily... Shina is superb.
However, the Uruguay defence was also sh!te and the red card also complicated things for them 'slightly'...
Overall, good win for Israel, but yet again one that leaves you with a bit of a bitter after-taste.

Agree about this,
mainly about the Uruguayan part.

But I think Eddie Surprise them with this very high defense,
it moves the ball towards their side,
make the mids play short pass or dribble (as they avoid to pass to offside),
and give our high def/mid the opportunity to steal the ball.

we were deserve the winning,
and though I really doesn't know if it was brilliant thought or just pure luck,

Here you will see that 5-3-2 formation with high defence line means 7 players on defence and this is WRONG! we cant play so defensvily here! so keep this in mind.

Eddi is such a cowered he should have placed 10 strikers and 1 defender !!!

I didn't see the game but it sounds like people are once again criticizing the tactic just because its Eddi

I think it was my game plan to win this match....
High defensive line+ the 2 wingbacks were to stop the half-wingers of Uruguay and our winger should have been free,which happened...

When we were 2 down i knew we can make it,as the tactic was perfectly made imo(except the throw-ins)

Their strikers are~3xdivine and only 3 players were marking them(their strikers were placed well imo) and 2 wingbacks to help if needed..

anyway i think it was a great thriling match

And you forgot , when it was 2:2 on the 65th minute Segev came in for Noach , than our mid was: Brocks , Segev and Dvir , and from this stage it was 2:0 for us , so its the MISKENIM spirit that helped you , admit it...

I did not see the game, and I'll probably will not have a chance to see it.
