I opened some time ago a thread on sokker international about this and a polish mod said that he found the following advantages on polish news (first page):
prestige, as you said... more supporters...
medical care - faster recovery (he can get injured in club also)
and the training bonus, which was ~33%, but it was changed a couple of months ago to 50%...
should be in english version of rules...

edit: Of course, Sharoni, this is because he plays more matches :) this applies to champions cup also...

I found this:

If they play only in an international, they will receive around 50% of the normal training

about others... greg stated several times that he didn't reveal all sokker secrets in the rules, so some of them we should find by playing sokker :)

The bonus of 50% is only for players who didn't play at their own club that week
Player who plays for the NT and for his own team still gets something like 5% to his training.

There is no logic in giving a player 50% for playing in NT, think about how fast they suppose to train.
Instead of 5 to magical pace a player will get 3 to magical pace.
Not only that I never saw it I also dont think greg will let it happen

I had a 18yo guy who poped in 4 weeks to incredible pace (playing for NT) and also other 18yo guy to pop in 4 weeks to incredible pace and 5 weeks to brilliant, without playing for NT :)
I think this reffers to the fact that if a players plays only NT match, will get half of training...
but if he playes on Sunday and maybe on wednesday and also on the Friday before Sunday, he won't het 150% for sure, 100% is maximum...
it's just a bonus, it helps, in my oppinion...

you should mention the reason also: to take a look about it's current situation and functionality, as I heard there are some problems...

if there are no objections i can let you in. However, right now we are in the process of moving the whole shooting match to one of bluezeros hosting servers. It shouldnt take too long to move but then i need to change a few odds and ends then we will be good to go.
