Why would someone want to buy _thousands_ !!! of players for 1 or 3 shekels and then retire them? Not try to sell them for more, just retire them! Why would someone do that?

Anyone?

I found a team which has 2000+ purchases of players and most of them were retired immediately without playing. Why would someone do that?

I think it might be a scheme to damage other teams. He buys players for very little and then retires the players. Maybe sometimes good players fall between the cracks/net and by buying them cheap he ruins the chance for the seller to make money on them?...

It just seems strange.

לא נראה לי שזו המטרה. וגם אם הוא מפטר אותם אחרי זה, הוא לא גורם שום נזק לקבוצות שמכרו אותו, להפך, הוא קנה את השחקנים, כלומר הציע יותר כסף מקודמיו

He always buys for the initial price. You are correct though, he probably is not trying anything evil. But it does seem very strange. Silly.

I found this guy because he bought three of my youth players at the minimal/initial bid. I wanted to see who was it that bought all my players and found this guy who bought over 2500 players and got rid (retired/sacked) of most of them!
