This thread is about a little semi-scam clamchowder organised, which resulted in something good nevertheless.
It appears that clamchowder talked about the strange 'no talent youth player' - 30+ weeks with no ups - he had as part of his effort to sell the player. He advertised in the International forum the same as he did here, and was immediately deleted for having a link to a TL (transfer listed) player. (He also got a little ban). I didn't know he was also trying to sell the player and got into a fight with the Danish moderator for closing his interesting thread about bad youth talent. (I came to clamchowder's defence automatically, for suspecting the foreign moderator going anti-Israeli.) I reopened the thread, and now we finally have some interesting discussions there about youth talent.

Here is what one of the Dutch moderators had to say:
"There is a hard cap, juniors can reach max divine+.999999
So the best possible junior with the best possible talent trained by the best possible trainers can only reach level 17.99999.
The best possible junior to start with is a good 34. And let's say he pops in the first week of training, so then he's solid 33. To get to divine+.9999 he can get about 9.75 more pops. So his best possible talent would be 33/9.75=3.38
So I think the best possible talent for juniors is somewhere around that. Maybe a little more depending on whether a junior can come in the junior school with max good.01, good.5 or good.99"

From more information and discussion with other players, it seems also as if there is No ordinary statistical distribution of talent. We hear about 3-4 week talent all the time which means that either the bell curve is skewed to the low or that people are exaggerating/lying. Either way the 5-7 weeks talent is the most common.

ד. אי ידיעת החוק אינה פוטרת מעונש, אז גם אם זה היה מטומטם, קיבלתי את העונש בכבוד ואין לי תלונות

הצעתם כאן שאפרסם את הסיפור בכללי כי זה מעניין או אולי זה באג
פרסמתי בקונפרנס הבינלאומי - בכוונה להראות את התופעה. השחקן כאמור למכירה כדי שתראו מה יצא באופן ישיר, וכדי לקבל גם בסוף 5ש"ח ממי שלא קרא

קיבלתי עונש כי כתוב בחוקים במפורש שאסור לתת לינק בקונפרנס לשחקן שהוא ברשימת ההעברות - זה נחשב אד או ספאם
ניסו גם לטעון שבכלל זה תרגיל זול לפרסם שחקן

אבל בחור נחמד ניסה להגן עלי - לא בצדק כי השחקן באמת למכירה, בצדק כי לא הייתה לי כוונה אחרת מלבד הדיון בתופעה
האמת שמישהו הציע עליו שקל כי הוא רוצה לחקור אותו (ניסויים בבעלי ביטים) אז באמת יצא שזה עבד כפרסום. אחרת אולי לא היה נמכר בכלל
בגדול - יצאה בדיחה
