Subject: Mini World Cup

Hello, next season i want to organize a tournament for teams which didn't qualify to the "big" World Cup.

I think it will be more interesting than playing boring friendlies ;)

It will be 2nd edition of that Cup. The first was played almost 4 seasons ago and the winner was Romania (link to the 1st edition)

New NT season
Senior World Cup – Qualifications

The rules which will exactly say how many teams will qualify from each group to the 1/8 finals will be done when I will know how many teams want to participate in this tournament. (so after the results of new elections, because new coaches should make this decisions).
There will be four-teams-groups (some could be three-teams if we can't make all with 4 teams). So the qualifying could be for example:
- best two teams from each group and 3 best teams from 3rd positions or
- best team from each group and 7 best teams from 2nd positions.
All depend on that how many groups we will have

I must tell you that there will be no problem when you will want to play in both Mini World Cup and U-21 World Cup. I talked about this with Hellsangel (U-21WC organizer) and 4 best teams will qualify to the u-21 World Cup without playing in u-21 WC Qualifications.

I don't think that Israel will join
I'm already organizing a new countries tournament that will run for the 2nd time
It's a tourney for all the season and not for only 7 weeks

I believe that the mini-WC and then the U21 wc will be much more challange and intersting to the next coach and the community.

When I was played in the new nation cup last season, most games were borring and not intersting, for sure it will be next tine when we will be one of the oldiest nation there, and the real challange will be only in the semi-final or the final, furthermore, last time Israel had the most un-advantage condition compare to the other old teams.

The only reason that I join this tourny last year was the fact that I want to play with U21anyway and its feet my plan (alhough we had this dis-advantage too there).

My believe that the next NT coach (that I assume that will try to re-elect to the next season too when the quelification will take place), will find the mini WC and then the U21 tourny much more helpfull in trying different tactics against equal or stronger teams , and it will give him much more expirience then playing 90% of the games against more or less boot team, beside the fact that in this tourny he will not be able to play with the over21 players at all (and then will come to the next season when he will need to use them with no expirience).

or to improve your ranking position

Last time u didn't participated in the debate before the competition deciding how every counrty should play so Israel got a bad conditions

Expirience is much importent in my eyes then higher rank.

As you could see lst time, high rank (29) did not give you any advantage in the draw, and we could got much easy group if we had been in the 4-5 level.

As I already say, I knew that I am going to play anyway with under 21 team, and my aim was to build the basic squad for the futere, so I diddnt concern whater the odds go for us or not and what position we will finish in the end.


Anyway, I guess that this issue wil be part of the new coach decision, and I will ask the candidate about their opinion when the will arrive.

sorry I coppied dates from forum with u-21 shedule and there was a mistake.

we will start in WEEK 2 but this week will be on 14-07 of course not on 7-07 as i wrote it in the first post.
