Our SAvz58 weights 4kg fully loaded, little bit more if you're using light/laser device. About "wrong" calibre, 7,62mm is for killing and 5,56 is for harming... When you're wearing armour vest 5,56 does not penetrate throught it, while 7,62 penetrate even trough kevlar.
Chicane, we called it šikana, I checked dictionary and it's chicane. Well, there no point arguing about the rifle. The fact is that all guns in the world are being changed for a bull-pup action like in the Tavor and the AK47 versions are migrating to Africa and other such low tech armies. The same goes for the calibre. But if it makes you proud, then great.
Regarding Chicane... the dictionary says something different but I understand what you meant. Yes hazing is done in many places but on a very low level... like I said... it's for bored and childish soldiers.

well, Slovakia has also low tech army :) 60y old weapons, 30y old vehicles... (Tanks from 1972, armored transporters from '80, 4x4 from '70... Classic civil vehicle, which is used just for roads, when commander wants to go somewhere is Lada Samara...
90% of our population has better cars then army. We were never in war, so experience only from NATO and OSN missions... Unfortunetaly, Golan Heights are no longer our mission, it was only mission I wanted to go...

If Slovakia and Israel will fight in war (against themselfs) you could defeat us in couple of hours (my guess - we can stand 6 hours max. without any help). Only 1 tank battalion, just few aircrafts - old MIG's, infantry has zero experience with fight in cities, we still train on planes, woods... WWII tactic.
And I don't want to mention about logistics... Guys from NATO missions could tell, compare with other europian nations (Finland, Sweden, Austria etc.) so I mean "normal" armies, not the top ones (Germany, France, UK) are far away from us... I heard stories, that others soldiers laught and take pictures of our "technology" like UAZ 2206 medcar... Believe me or not, but this is still using in our army... :)
And I don't want to mention about logistics... 1. I hope we never have to fight each other. Israel has enough enemies for 10 countries and also we like your country. Israeli students go to study there and tourists visit your country often. Maybe our military is stronger but that is not something we like or want to be proud of, we dislike having to fight for our survival all the time and would have much preferred to invest the military budget in sports or art or education.
2. Old weapons and vehicles are not always something bad. During the first few wars of Israel, we had not old, but antique weapons purchased as WWII leftovers from Chekoslovakia. With these old rifles we fought against well armed Arab armies which had tanks and artillery and more... and we won. We won because we fought for our freedom and because we had our backs to the wall. The same happened in Vietnam and many other places where the human spirit defeated well equipped armies.

I'm sure there is no reason why should we start to fight a war, but if there will be war, I heard that financial crisis could end by war... America vs. ? probably Russia imho... And how are you with Russia? As far as I know, Israel and USA are big friends, but many russians live in Israel, 'cause I heard you plates or how to call it are in azbuka (when you enter the city, there are 4 languages of it - russian, english, hebrew and arabic. At least that is what I heard).
We are friends with the USA as much as we are friends with Europe or anyone else.
Trust me when I tell you we never got any gifts from America and everything had a price!

One of my colleagu was on Golan Heighs, he was bus driver for some higher ranks... And he told me, for those 6 months he was almost everywhere. Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Haifa, every big israelian city, than he was in Egypt, Libanon, Syria etc. etc. And when I asked him about Israel, he told me, that when he was there, your girls was some damn hot, sexy string panties were looking from jeans, nice bodies... It was hard for him to stay "cold" :D It's absolutely normal here too, but when you're on mission and 6 months with almost 99% men, sexy woman is dangerous (more for herself maybe :D).
So when (or if) I'll get to Israel, I hope you guys will show me some of your female friends which likes europien guys ;)
Btw. I didn't find those girls on facebook, I don't know probably how to operate with it :) But I read, I know it, that porn is forbidden in arab countries, and many Arabs visiting israelian pornsites, and they already (those websites) made special cathegory with arabic girls :) [btw. I heard that arabic girl are completaly shaved under those robes, but what I saw on net, I found really big bushes so where is the true? Someone who had experience with arabic girl can write me (SK@, if you're shy:))] So I think porn is normal thing in your country, just like in rest of Europe... I will, but it takes some time... When is this financial crises, I have to save money more then I expected, so... It will take some time till I could go there, even if you would be so kind, that you let me in your mansion :) In a meantime, you could go here, you wrote that Slovakia seems interesting to you, this summer I don't go anywhere, I'll stay home and will be travel only for Slovakia... So you can add, if you want, we have one free room, since my sister moved, so no prob... And someone wanted to see some caves, Dobsinska or Domica...
