The humus served in 206 is not even prepared there and it is clearly a bulk delivery stuff. In terms of greatness it is worse the bad!

I completely agree. The argument about what is the best can be a long and arduous one.
The only difference in this case is that young misguided Yarden confused good quality with publicity. 206 is just a famous place but definitely NOT because it has humus (or anything else for that matter) of the best kind.

206 has the BEST homus in israel better then abu-hasan crap homus and all the other homusiot..
and the best thing about 206 is that its the official maccabi tel aviv restaruant, no reds allowed.!

206 IS the MTLV fan club and that great. I, myself have sat there more than once during games and was even interviewed to the Slovenian or some such TV when they played against Macabbi. It's a great place to watch a game.
But as far as food is concerned... I know pitzutziot that sell better food. And Humus... PLEASE! My grandmother's (may she rest in peace) shit was a better humus than what they serve in 206.

First of all... winning with the older more experienced logic is always a good bet. :)
Second, notice how I didn't say what you claim, I only implied it and you took the bait. I only remarked about Yarden's young-ness ;-)
Third, I also didn't claim I know where the best of the best humus was. But I do know that 206 is not even a contender.
Four, I never ate proper humus in Akko and I am certain they have some great stuff there. I've already made a mental note to try it next time I'm coming up north.
