go to the beach in thoses days (yom kipur) but probably there wont be any other people there... maybe arabic or other tourists.... but its better than do nothing beach is allways fun ! :)
yes, and i need to get some sun bath cos i have a very white skin due the 2 much work :p
First of all , Welcome!.
And second , just for you to understand better Yom Kipur:
Yom Kippur
Now , its just one day , so you can go to the beach , or just sleep and rest all day..
;-)
In your tour i think that Jerusalem is the most important place to see , of course the western wall.
In Haifa its the Bahaim.
Tel-aviv is the city that never sleeps , so you will allways find there attraction.
Its like our New York..
;-)
Eilat should be your last stop , couse its where you can rest from your trip some days at the end Eilat
Im sure you have fun here , and will see that its not like they show on the news....
;-)

Ok i went back yesterday form your country.
I got a wonderful holyday there (maybe i didn't like so much the Yom Kippur days :| ).
Anyway i started from Tel Aviv staying there 3 days and then i got a car and i move to Gerusalem (what a amazing city!!!) , then again i passed to West Bank territories ( i didn't feel so sicure going throw there with the israelian plate on my car's back ^_^ ).
Well, after i passed throw Bethelhem and Hebron going to the south i stopped in Masada and El Baraq and Ein Geidi.I almost become blind for the salt of the dead sea!!!!!!
The next stop was a Tyberias and the other small cities around the lake itself.A very relaxing place to stay ;-)
I did a very quick visitation of Golan area too and then again i moved to Akko.I tryed to find an Hotel in Haifa and Harada but i wasn't able to find anyone (in Haifa cos i lost always myself in the traffic and in one way streets!!! :/ )
Finally i got and hotel in Netanya and i was happy to spend some time too in the beach the day after, before the end of that day i found the time to visit Cesarea too for a couple of huors.
On advenced evening i moved back again to Tel Aviv getting there my last dinner before to start to move to Ben Gurion :D
Anyway you have a wonderful country that it needs surely more than the 12 days i spent to be visited and i guess people prefers to go to other location cos they are scared, with not reason, about the possibility to get a missile on its head from some Palestinian fanatic group or to involved in terroristic attack.
If i can do a disappoint i have to say that at airport i hadn't find a nicely treatment, probably somebody would learn wich is the difference between Italy or Morocco! And that the name Marco (my one ;) ) is hard to be confused with Mohammed or Abdul or stuffs like that!

may i ask what they did to you in the airport?
I guess that most people think that there are a lot of chances of being hit by a missile from any extremist palestinian group, which is not true unless you decide to spend a lot of time in a city called Sderot, close to the Gaza strip. Besides that the rest is pretty much safe. You might feel some tension in the air in the West Bank also, but it could rarely become dangerous for turists. As far as I know, it wouldn't happen, yet you might be the one in a million or ten millions that is unlucky and then statistics don't count at all for you. Israelis love tourists and will always try not to miss the chances to have any contact with them, since they like to be able to chat with people from other cultures and spend a good time showing some of the israeli kitchen and nightlife as long as the great beaches and comercial oportunities in the country. I think it is one of the world's misconceptions of what the country and its people are. I guess that once the problem with the palestinians will be solved, Israel will join the EU and then you won't have to spend more time in the airport than you need to spend inside the EU. I have been living in Berlin for the last year and I am dreaming about coming back to Israel to heat some good schwarma, drink some good beer and sit on the beach even in the winter. I am glad you enjoyed your visit. Cheers!

The point is not "what", but "how".
