as mentioned b4 Malaysia attack is good, but midfield is bad.
Now you are saying that the midfield is bad... You cant blame the strikers for not converting their chances when they have only 3 shots on goal... Higher pace and technical strikers are better than higher striker levels. Whats the point of having a striker with brilliant striker level and good pace, when they are too slow to use their striker skill.
Also, If the midfield is not strong, they will not be able to supply to strikers with decent balls to run onto or receive and then have the chance to put it away...
Again, the tactic is very very defensive. If you play a more attacking game you will create more chances for the strikers.
@ Condor
Did you watch Bulgaria's last match?? They played with 3 strikers! why would you not MARK them!! And if they are using 3 at the back, why not take full advantage of that and play a high winger to get the balls into the box for the strikers to finish!!
Try a more attacking tactic and you might be able to score a goal...
Even Wooikeim's tactics from last season were more attacking... They were certainly not the best but were attacking and Malaysia still managed to score against Italy in the WCQ's!! Why is it that you have not been able to score a goal yet with the Malaysian NT. Considering that you play in Italian Serie B, I believe that Malaysian users would have expected results from your first 2-3 games. Even scoring a goal! not having a goal difference of -11!
0-11 in 3 games simply cant be good enough... Malaysia is better than that. Result against Peru was fair as they are a much better nation, Result against Moldova should have been MUCH closer. 3-1 or similar. Against Bulgaria, you should have easily been able to work out their weaknesses and capitalise on them!

Yeah , I can completely agree with you Tiger. I think this is some kind of rule that weaker teams only focus on defending , not scoring goals. I can agree with your words about strikers to. Shoot skill isn't so important. I'm so sorry that you're not NT coach.
I always said that our midfielders is better than our defenders, but doesn't mean it is very good. We have 4 players in NT now that can reach above 50 points now, when playing in midfielder. And we don't have a defender that can reach 50 yet.
But I always said our wingers and attacking midfielders are bad, if we play attacking football, it is not possible. We already agreed to not disagree. So, expect we attack less, but if the midfielder position is correct, we will win some games, if we get the defence right. And I think the defence is getting in shape now.
Just view back the Malaysia Super League on week 3, ahjun beat Scorton 1 - 0, Scorton totally dominate on possession far worst than Malaysia match against Bulgaria, ahjun has 4 scoring chances and Scorton has 18 scoring chances. And also my games against diemanUTD, I have 5 scoring chances and dieManUTD has 16 scoring chances, and I won 4-0.
It is not how many times you attack, it it whether you attack and its count.
Various coaches, has different styles. But I do believe Italian as at the NT, build the team from the back, and I see the defending is better and organised, at least we are not fielding 4 defenders that are above 24 years old. We are fielding young players that will only improve. This is a good sign, and the defence looks good, except that it is only Bulgaria not the top 20 teams.
On the striker, as I said it is logical to field higher pace and technique players. But if you can't score for 3 games, it is time to experiment, I just suggest to look into the possibility of giving some playing time to our 2 brilliant striker, and adjust the tactic a bit.
wooikeim did field Firdaus against Serbia, and he scores on his debut against a very strong side via set piece, and I recall some people congratulate him for trying some untried players and unveil yet another good player. What is wrong for me to recommend to use Firdaus for some playing time now, as the strikeforce needs some changes? As I mentioned, you can't score via open play, but via set piece you can. And also, with long try, brilliant striker will have chances to get some lucky shot in.
It is a NT coach decision, just suggestion.

I appreciate your opinion mysprs,
however most of my post wad directed TO condor. I know where you stand on this issue. I would like Condor, not anyone else from his staff, but Condor who is the NT coach to answer me.

Yeah, as mentioned above, I also expect condor to have a post match review.
Hope he can answer on wooikem question on the use of Faisal and your questions.
When I answer, I answer as a Malaysian user, not as a perspective of staff.
But he might take some time to answer as we know some times he might need a translator help.

Obviously i agree that the defender line are tight. Improve a lots.
Just fell that the striker need to improve. See in the match that both striker lose their possession to opponent and waste the chances.
So i think NT manager need to look close to striker problem also, not only defend.

As a Malaysian user perspective, just give him time.
Friendly match is the time to experiment, and he just got 3 matches so far.
If he keeps on repeating the same problem, then we need to shoot him of course, like the Malaysia election recently.
I am sure he is looking into this area. If the problem is not rectified, then we need to give him a yellow card.

not sure why Ismail was played, but think he have his reason on that, since your question was why my player was played, i'll give u my point of view, as i always generous to show my player skill (see below) this player skill is no longer the skill that you know. (so if you don not have updated player skill, i dont think you have a good idea of who to play. if u look at Shamsul Amri Faisal form is only good about his skill i not sure, but Ismail form is brilliant, form is very important, i think experince coach dont select player with tragic form for NT, i was suprise this tragic form player was selected on your last NT match.
Prakash Che Mat, age 23
value: 733 750 RM, wage: 14 250 RM
tragic form
Ungku Ismail Ismail, age 22
value: 1 560 000 RM, wage: 14 250 RM
brilliant form
excellent stamina,
outstanding pace,
excellent technique,
poor passing,
hopeless keeper
adequate defender
weak playmaker
formidable striker

Its not a matter of Ex or current, ok? As a Malaysia player, i just want to know why Ungku is player instead of some other striker. Oh well, i can say that i'm ex is not because of the selection of player. It is because of poor tactic delivered. Can you please refer back some history in the forum said that its a good idea of testing some new player and so on? Do not judge if you are no sure. And yet, i believe this is not only want to know from me. Thank You.

this is what wooikeim post, he never say his tactic is good ..........
Also, last time all quite when he fail to set good tactic. So now we duwan this happen again, we wan talk about every match. Last time if got people help to point out weak point of the tactic i think he will improve faster. Without other people idea and point of view and definately he is new and no experience, i dont think he can do well at last season.
So what i think is we LOOK AT NOW and FUTURE. Talk about last time mistake is dont do it again.
