Subject: [NT] Malaysia - Peru
- 1
2nd match of the tournament and 2nd lost.
Here my analisys of the match (i speak with condor in msn and he agrees with me):
Positive
- The positioning in throw in and corner kick was almost perfect *__*
- The defence movement was better than previous match
Negative
- The defence position in the last 2 part of the field was too back, in fact the Peruvian striker was always alone near the area limit (condor admits this error).
- I killed our striker. they never dribble peruvian defender -.- and always lost the ball :(
- Our keeper was sleeping on 4th goal, he shoked me and condor o.O
- Our mid cannot built any offensive play :\ but we don't have a lot of complete player (some of our better mid has no stamina, so we have force to play with the same mid).
What we have to do
- Improve defenders movement in the last part of the field, so we can do more pressing on the strikers
- Improve strikers movement, maybe a mid or wing near them can help
- TRAIN STAMINA. PLEASE!!! We have a lot of good players who haven't stamina, and it's a fundamental skill. We need players at least very good (9) in stamina!!!!
:)

if you knew you were short of stamina, why would you try such an offensive defense position? That just kills stamina quicker.
Was only marginally better than last week, the defense as you've stated still had massive flaws, with being so aggressive yet so super deep in the goal box totally undoing anything you did defensively up to then.
The positive is that you're picking up on some of these things and hopefully you'll correct that for next week

ehm.. i'm not NT Coach :D
And the player in yesterday's match has at least excellent in stamina ;) but we have a lot of good players who don't have stamina so we can't use them in NT matches.

becauseif it were not an offensive defense position we lost 7/8 at 0 moreover only some players have played with low stamina while the others were lower in defender and pace but in stamina were excellent

yeah, I tend to disagree that you would have lost 7-8 nil from simply playing a little more defensively. The offside trap wasn't what I was questioning, but rather the fact that if they were low on stamina or if they were indeed slow, then an offside trap probably wasn't a good option. I don't know the skills so I wasn't trying to be nasty or have a go, so apologies if it came across that way, I was just a little surprised given the first response to the match was we need stamina training.
I'm sure as soon as you fix that defense up in the box you'll get better results as the rest was pretty good.
