Hi All, please find below the match analysis that I'm posting on behalf of National Trainer Condor88:

"Eventually, the first victory. Almost perfect match, although versus a weak opponent. The team moved well around the field, without running many risks and creating lots of goal opportunities. Couple of things I did not like: the position of the midfield when we started from defense zone (only 1, sometimes 2 players to conquer the ball while at least 3 are needed), and the positioning on offensive throw-ins. Injuries of Faisal and Manan did condition us a lot, as they played for long time below their capabilities. And goalie's injury did prevent us from using the last substitution planned (Ismail Ismail for Faisal)."

Condor88 also kindly asked me to write some personal notes on the match, which I make with pleasure despite my scarse knowledge of the team (so please be patient if I post wrong impressions - just take it as a spectator's comment).
I largely agree with his analys. On the plus side, I would add the sensation of fluidity expressed in some occasions by our playmakers (the last goal is a perfect example). On the minus side, the defense line gave me the impression to run backwards a bit too early - but probably condor88 made this choice to test something that will help Malaysia a lot against stronger opponents.
