Subject: [C] Competition Time

Aim of this competition is simple. Guess the score between the two sides and guess the time when both sides score their first goal.


Point system is as follows.

5 points for a correct tip (result wise)
+3 bonus points for a correct margin (must get correct tip right to get the bonus)
+5 bonus points for correct result

Then there are other points awarded as well which are:

Guessing the exact time when the first goal is scored : 20 points

Guessing the time within 5 minutes either side: 10 points (e.g you say min 25, goal scored between 20 and 30 inclusive will get you the 10 points here)

Guessing the time within 10 minutes either side: 5 points (e.g you say min 25, goal scored between 15 and 35 inclusive will get you the 5 points)

Guessing the time within 20 minutes either side:
2 points

For these points you can only get one of the categories, so if you get it exact you only get 20, you don't get 20+10+5+2 etc.

Note: You do not have to get the result right in order to earn these points and so the minutes you choose can be completely different to what result you've tipped. That is for example you can select min 50 for the away team to score their 1st goal even if you tipped the away team to fail to score. That's if you choose to do so, you can still stick to your tipping result if you wish.

In the case of not having enough time either way it will overlap, so stating a goal in min 5, in the case of range of 10, means anywhere between 85-15 and also covers the case of no goal being scored.

For those who wish to select no goal for a specific team use 0 as your minute number.

In the unlikely case the viewing has a different minute displayed to the report, the report is the one which will be taken.

definately not going to play the tactic i played last week. Move of a mix in between the first two. (i dont want the scottish nt manager to come into the forum and say - Wow! TM is using a 442 tactic,, i will use a 343 tactic etc.)
