Subject: Some tips about the training
- 1
I write this topic in order to help new sokker managers and also in order to reveal some tips that came out from a research performed by italian manager and statistic-man andreac, that could be interesting even for old managers.
Let's review some basics written on the rules.
You can see the training effect during the morning/midday of thursday. The effect of the training depends by player characteristic
- talent
- age
- level of the trained skill
How is employed during the week
- how many minutes the player play (if he play more than 90 minutes the raise of the effectiveness is very low)
- kind of played match (90 minutes in official match, championship or cup, equals about 90-95% of the total possible, in friendly about 80-85%, national team match about 50%)
- role (GK, DEF, MID or ATT), in accordance with the kind of training
The staff skills:
- the level of the trained skill of the main coach
- the general level of the assistant and their number
The training:
- the set up of the individual training (in accordance with the training)
- the kind of training
Remarks: It's impossible to obtain more of the 100% of the training, so, if a player play the official match + national match, he will take the 100% of the training.
About the set up of the individual training, remember that
Goalkeeper training: it has got the 100% of effectiveness if you set up the role GK, other role will not obtain any quantity
Defender and technique training: it has got the 100% of effectiveness if you set up the role DEF, MID ir ATT, other role will obtain a very smaller quantity
Pace training: It will train at 100% of effectiveness every player that plays during the week
Playmaking and passing training: it has got the 100% of effectiveness if you set up the role MID, other role will obtain a very smaller quantity
Striker training: it has got the 100% of effectiveness if you set up the role ATT, other role will obtain a very smaller quantity
Stamina training: Trains at 100% every player of your team, even without playing any match.
About the kind of training, it's very important, and not written into the rules, that every trained skill gives a different amout of training point. The manager andreac performed a statistic and in his report wrote that:
If a player needs one training of stamina in order to raise from 5 (average) to 6 (adequate) in stamina, this player will needs:
3.75 weeks of pace training for raising from 5 to 6 in pace (pace is the slower skill to raise)
3.25 in technique
3 in striker, defense and goalkeeping
2.25 in playmaking and passing (faster skills to grow)
in other words he wrote that
Striker, defense and goalkeeping pop up in the 80% of time required to pace
86.6% for technique
60% for passing and playmaking
It's very important because we discover that all the skills grow in a different time.
Moreover, we have to consider the general training. It's the training that every player take like bonus. In this case, the general training don't depend by the time to grow of the skill. In other words, the amount of training taken for defense, is the same for playmaking.
Of course, it depends by the role, for example, a striler will not take any general training in goalkeeping :)
The proportions between direct and general training (or gt) are:
- 8 gt for have the same amount of a direct one in pace
- about 10 in striker, goalkeeper and defense
- about 9.25 in technique
- about 13.3 in playmaking and passing.
I hope that these tips will be useful, in order to grow as best your players. The original topic is in italian language and is available here.
