Subject: [NT] ringhiostarr 2nd season

Good morning dear Malaysian managers.
It's time of new election, and it's time to talk about the season just passed and about the future.
About the first, this was my first experience with a main national team, because in the past I've managed only U21. In this season I've learnt how to act and how to face strong opponents.

Consideration of the past season: I've started very bad with a bad defeat by Ireland of 5-0, but in the next matches I've improved all with better performance and better results.

4 draw matches
4 loses
All the teams was at our level or stronger, except as-Saʻūdiyya. Should I did better? Let's see an interesting statistic. Let's see about the trend of the matches adn the stats in the next pic

The colums:
1-NT opponent
2-our shoots
3-our goals
4-percents of score (goals/shoots)
5-opponent shoots
6-opponent goals
7-opponent percent of score (opp goals/opp shots)
The last row it's a mean of every single-match stat. They talk clearly. We've dominated most of the matches, we've got the double amount of shoots than the opponents but we score the half. Why? The reason is easy! We have a lack of strong strikers. And I'm sorry to say that this is not my fault. I judge positively my work because I think that the task of a good coach is to set the best line up as possible, and most of the match was dominated. But these's no tactic that improve the skills of the strikers.

Future consideration
This problem will be resolved in the future, because there are a lot young strikers that are growing fastly but they aren't ready now to play. In the immediate future, at the half of the next season I think that we could have two good young strikers that could improve our % of score, and in 3 season I think that we could have strikers like our opponents. And about it, I'm trying to follow the growth of these young strikers. This is all I can do, and I think that it is all the possible that someone can do.
If this will happen, I think that it could be the best malaysia that ever existed in sokker, and my pledge is to build it.
In the next matches I will try to gain 1 position, in order to be selected in an higher order pot for the building of the leagues of the world cup qualification of the next season. It's clear that I would like to try to pass the turn. If this season we've dominated most of the match, with the grow of the young strikers, I hope that all of the wasted chances of goals will be converted into goals.
So, I'm very optimist.
I hope that you enjoyed to see the NT matches, despites some result that didn't give justice of how seen. I hope that you would like to see me again of the management of the Malaysia. There is the 6th season that I'm involved here, and now this flag is in my heart :)



For who don't know me, I remember that I have experience like:

-coach of Italy U21 (2 seasons), Malaysia U21 (4 seasons)
-Scout of Italy U21 (2 seasons), Italy NT
And I've reached the goal to qualify Malaysia U21 to the world cup for the first time in its history!.

I have long experience with national teams, and I'm sure that I can bring malaysia far away :). Actually the DB is well updated.

This is our league for the qualification to the WC


I think that we've got the unlucky to be in the 49th position of the ranking... with the wide win of today we could gain one position, that it meant an higher pot of extraction. For who don't know what about I'm talking, he can see that we are the 4th name. With a higher pot, we did 3rd, and at our place a potentially weaker team...
But I would like to try to pass the turn If I will be re-elected, as I reached with U21, and here there are the best point for us. Despite they are strong, top teams of our league aren't impossible, except Belgie.

The match of today is very promising, because opponents wingers was very strong (I think superdivine in tech), and very hard to stop. Usually who choose to use winger, or 2 wingers, it choose to be more time in the opponent half-field with the cost of less score ratio, because the head kick are less effective than foot-kicks. Despite this, we've got more chances of goals (without wingers).

It's a good sign for the future, I hope :)

Sometimes is quite frustrating to don't have good strikers, especially when you create a lot of chances of goals.

Thanks, but i think, i will make a break now.My team just promoved in third league, i will have to make a good season there, will be very difficult...but enough for me:)

I hope it... the young striker have to pop quickly. I think that the best Malaysia will born in 3 season.


Next week we will play against the world champions. Not easy. But there is a news more. The norvegian line up will be set by miche49, my assistant for the past season. Why him? Because he knows the norvegian coach ale70, and even because he's candidate like new coach of norway. So ale70 gave this chances to him in order to test his potential new players.

In the end... I will play against the world champions with a coach that know my players and my tactics....

By the way he proposed me to let me win because I am under election...

I like challenges. This is very hard. Despite a probably defeat, I consider very important the attitude of the team :)

This match was my first match of a world cup with a senior national team. I was emotioned. We've shown our usual difficult to score, but thanks of the great amount of chances of goal and with a good defense, we've reached the victory.

I hope to make well in the next matches.

Here comes the first defeat of the Malaysia. I don't know if I have to be happy for the good performance or the missed draw or victory.

The opponent is stronger than us, but the end could be every kind of result. As I expected, we paid for the lack of strikers. We've got a little more chances of goal of 1 vs 1 with the goalkeeper than the opponent, but we missed all. I had an heart attack when we missed one of these lasts at 90 minute....

We've overpassed Senegal, and I'm happy because opponents was able to be dangerous. But the next matches will give us if we will be in or out. Portugal and Belgie are stronger than us, but let's se if we are able to have enough lucky to get a win :)

Draw against Belgium!! And deserved! We was winning until 7 minutes to the end... It has been hard but I'm very happy for the result.

It's true that with a better lucky of our regular strikers (low of form actually so they haven't played) we could win, maybe, but I don't want to complain anymore. This is a sign that Malaysia can, if not this WC championship, the next one.

Now, let's go against portugal.
