Draw against Belgium!! And deserved! We was winning until 7 minutes to the end... It has been hard but I'm very happy for the result.
It's true that with a better lucky of our regular strikers (low of form actually so they haven't played) we could win, maybe, but I don't want to complain anymore. This is a sign that Malaysia can, if not this WC championship, the next one.

Today we played with player that are 25 years old or younger. I've seen a good performance of our young players, many of these was 22 years old. We was a little weaker than the opponent and we deserved a defeat, but they needs the 90th minute to obtain it.
I suggest to see the sensational goal of Syed Alwi, one of the most promising striker of Malaysia of the future, our 2nd goal, a long-distance sharp shoot!

Today we finished the qualification tournament. Indeed, the match of today it was useless, because we hadn't any chances to pass, because of the huge goal difference between us and belgium, in case that I won the belgium lose.
But by the way I would like to win today. I Tried.... many times, and no results... Once they shooted, they scored. It was incredible. Today we have shooted many many many times and only one goal. :(
By the way, we ended to only 2 points of distance to belgium. I hope that this could make you happy about the performances of Malaysia in this world cup. Let's give time to young strikers to grow in the next season and... let's see :)

It's a lot of time that I don't write here, last result that I've reached discouraged me a little bit, especially the result with my team, and with the elimination of Malaysia from the mini world cup (especially the way that we've performed it), in my opinion, not deserved.
We ended the qualification turn with the same points and goal difference of Panama, but Panama scored one goal more of us. In the direct match with panama we used to shoot all the match in goal without scoring. This happened with the K.O of our regular striker, Sakup and Kunju Mohamad, sign that we have quality but not quantity of strikers.
Even against Danmark they scored more goal than deserved I think, despite they was stronger than us.
Now with the last friendlies we are re-starting to gain position in the global ranking, I think that it was an unlucky short period. I hope that it's part of our past now :).
bin Kunju Mohamad is gaining form, after his injury, and, what a surprise, Hafiz bin Selamat is gaining form too, and this is a real good news, because this can give us more quality to our attacker side. Let's see the paraguay test.
And of course, these good news bring me more wish to play as best as possible that I can :)

It has happened often that I lose for unlucky events, today I was thinking the same too, but with the progression of the match, I realized that I could set up a better line up. Too much defensive I think. At these levels, little changes could have big effects.
This is a lesson that I won't forget, especially for the next world cup :)

Just a little thing about Malaysia.
If you don't follow sokker international, we are playing the south-east asia and australia friendly tournament, as I announced in the beginning of this season, and we are in the final, against New Zealand. Today we've defeated Australia. Seasons ago we was one of the average team between these teams, and today we are one of the best. This is a little result that testify the improvements of the quality of the players. Today we've got a 75 like average evaluation. Seasons ago I expected a slightly better one (around 76 or 77), but this is an evaluation that let us to try to make results with top team. I am very excited about this, and I hope to have the opportunity to be the coach in the next season, in order to gather what I've seeded.
I have to thanks again you for the trust that you gave me in these seasons, for all of your collaboration about the players and the update.
And now, let's go to the next match, the final against new zealand.
