Subject: Junior Thread

I'm with Tigermaster on this one. Getting a junior school (js) running as soon as posible is essential. When I started, we were iirc, around 50 players in my country and even juniors with quite low skills where sellable for good money.
The smaller the country, the bigger the chance for a player to make the national team. This means that teams from other countries might be willing to buy your less than good juniors for a higher prize.
My js started giving a small profit after 1½-2 seasons using a solid trainer. By this time I could afford to upgrade the trainer to an excellent.
Another factor is that the js is one of the really exciting parts of the game. Waiting for thursday so you can see what kind of guys your juniors turn out to be and then posting the results to the conf, bragging or complaining to your fellow gamers - great fun! And besides winning, fun is what this game is all about.

in that case im doing everything that woob says bout main coach and 3 solid assistants correct .... except for the junior thing, but since u guys support the notion that junior school should be invested in from the beginning, i suppose im on the right track

besides, my junior is quite good for malaysia dun u guys think? =)

In some things (that Malaysian's player are much exepensive than, for example, Polish) I can agree, but... When will U have more fun?: when your young striker popes in striker, tech or speed, or if your junior will popes from weak to adequate?

Junior school is seriously very expensive! I give some examples of earning seriously big money on buying and selling young players, look at my transfers in past, when I was noob: some guys I have bought for 37 500 RM, trained them for 4 weeks and sell for 400 000RM! It's better, and easier for beginners!

Another example: there were many times when I had 10 or 11 popes a week! I didnt have divine trainers, just first with 1-2 skills unearthly skills and with good-very good other skills. If I have to be honest when I had 3 very good assistants I have been seeing better results than in the present situation when I have 3 formidable assistants...

It's very important to have young team! My opinion is still that having young, not very good, team is better than having junior school.

Because of my financial tactic I have never complain about having no money! Think about it! best regards :)

i agree with woob that training is more important than junior. training players will help your team getting stronger.

Although i don't think i will put myself into financially difficult situation, but in time of emergency you can sell your trainee.

investing in junior should be consider after you have your trainees in place. In addition to that, IMO, you either need some money available to last you until when you can sell your trainee or you are getting positive income.

bankrupt is team is no good to yourself and the NT even with great junior, it is not sure that what came in your junior school is something you can sell in short term.

my approach is that not to set too high target from the begining, may be very good-excellent coach is something can be considered

I think the training is as important as the juniors. You just have to choice the right players who come in YT.

I have my juniors since the 1st week. I hired a very good coach, then a excellent and i changed him until now, with a brilliant. I'll change again when i find a better, because i'm not getting one in the search. :/

i until now dun have juniors coz its unaffordable.. seriously i need to buy a young player and train them rather than investing junior... but will do so maybe next season...

week-trading really pays off more than i expected in this game, and this provides much needed income to sustain my junior school =)

day, week-trading it's good thing for all players :), if I were u and have money now I will buy guys, even if I ll have debit, because at the begining os next season for some of them U can get 2-3times much money :)

Mohd Ali bin Wahab, age: 16
value: 128 750 RM, wage: 3 000 RM

poor stamina, tragic keeper
average pace, poor defender
hopeless technique, weak playmaker
adequate passing, tragic striker

Hes a decent prospect for the future of the NT. If you want to train up some of his tech and playmaking he would be an absolute gun! Passing would be needed too :)

Mohd Alin Rahman, age: 16
