any suggestion on what to train or do?
2008-04-24 16:21:19
pace and then striker and technique.
2008-04-24 19:34:58
I'd say pace/defender/technique and he is set... from what i can tell Malaysia is lacking defenders and at only 18 he would be a great prospect

I think it is a better to train him to be defender, unless you are curently a striker trainer and don't plan to change it. Being a defender trainer, will generally make your team better, being a striker trainer will make your strike force looks good but weak on other area. I know your team already having good strikers.

if you want to become a defender training, try to train him to the basic national requirements first, which are

defender excellent (10)
pace solid (8)
technique + passing + playmaker =20

or

defender outstanding (12)
pace excellent (10)

Mohd Nazaruddin have good secondaries, so it is better to go for the first option which are

defender excellent (10)
pace solid (8)
technique good (7)
playmaker good (7)
passing adequate(6)

So, if I am you, I will check with my current young strkers below 21 to see whether they are weaker in pace or weaker in technique. if weaker in pace then train pace first, if weaker in technique than train technique first.

By doing this, can kill 2 birds in 1 stone, being a defender or striker trainer at the same time. After the training of technique or pace is done, then train the other skills.

if lets say both pace and technique is equally same, then I would train technique first, because 10 trainees will get maximum benefits on technique and 22 trainees will get maximum benefits on pace. So, train technique first, and take the time to accumulate 22 young players to be trainees, so when you train pace, everybody gains.

Once pace and technique training done and fulfill the national requirements, both your strikers and defenders should be quite good, then you need to choose the next training, then it should be defender next. Reason is, if you train defender first, the national scouts will shortlist him earlier, if you train playmaker or pace first, then he will be shortlisted later. So, it is ideal make him shortlisted first as early as posibble, so he might get some national team experience in his younger age. Training stamina in the off season is important too, for him to be considered. Once defender reach excellent, then switch to playmaker or passing training.

Next, because playmaker is weaker I will train playmaker first, but before training playmaker, ensure you gets 10 trainees that need playmaker training, and preferably all are weaker in playmaker and stronger in passing. Because you will train playmaker more than passing. And remember strong playmaker without passing is useless.

Then complete your remaining trainings to reach the requirements

defender excellent (10)
pace solid (8)
technique good (7)
playmaker good (7)
passing adequate(6)

And once you finished training pace and technique in the earlier stage, you need to make decision whether to
1) continue training your defender and sell the striker and getting older striker that are better overall with the money gained
2) continue training your defender with your striker, if your stirker are national material and your defenders are not, then you might want to sell your defender after pace and technique training and continue training striker.

Abdul Hadi bin Shaari, age 20
value: 748 750 RM, wage: 6 500 RM
divine form

solid stamina +2, weak pace +1,
good technique +1, weak passing +0,
hopeless keeper +0, formidable defender +1
adequate playmaker +0, weak striker +0

so what training do they need to be nt?currently train pace :)
2008-05-02 16:17:33
Abdul Hadi is a bit old for NT. No chance.

Zulkiflee, has an outside chance to be NT, but he needs pace, pace, and pace.

Train him pace at least until very good or excellent, then review what to train next.

As he has adequate passing, so either train him passing next, if you want to to train him to be MF.

He can also be defender, if you train him pace and defender.

To train him striker might be a bit too much.

Just ensure you got the unearthy skills coach to train him.
