Hello Malaysia players.

I would like to become the National Team manager of your nation. I have been playing sokker for just over a year and have just completedmy first season in League II.04 and finished in 2nd position.

I have a soccer background and have been playing or reffereeing the sport for almost 15 years. I know how to make tactics that will work, this comes from my sporting experience and I know that I can make those tactics work to this country's advantage.

I will not say that I play with a 4-4-2 formation or even a 3-4-3 formation. I will first and foremost get a whole mix of players and then see what the best formation for the NT would be.

I will strive to make this country move up into the higher ranks in the world. I can not promise anything except that I will do the best that I possibly can do.

Most of the active members of Malaysia know me quite well in the forums. Most have also played me in some friendly matches too.

I managed to start working with Mukegilee, current NT coach, and helped to make the NT fixtures list.

On a final note,
Good luck to the Nation of Malaysia. Good luck to the other candidates.

Thanks for your time,
Tigermaster

i don't think tactic is the main focus now, i am more interested in players selection and future NT players development plan.

Understandable. I can understand what you are standing. Player selection will be important for me. Young players will be an optimal selection. Giving the most experience to the younger players is essential.

If i get the job i will advise each and every owner of a NT player on how to train the selected player(s)

Any other questions please ask :)

what do you mean by young? explain optimal selection.

what is better rank, how are you going to achieve that? how do you measure you success?
2006-11-14 13:09:01
Young = < 22. Optimal selection means if they have about the same skills as an older player >24 the younger player will get optimal selection.

Better rank means getting into a higher position than 49th in the world :) I would measure success by firstly winning a match. Then trying to get another win within the season.

If i could get 5-7 wins in a season... i would call that successful. Anything else would be a bonus. If the team could draw a match with a higher ranked country like Slovensko, Australia or even New Zealand, That would mean the progress of Malaysia as a nation has come a long way within 2 seasons.

what is malaysia current rank? 49th? if malaysia is ranked 49th now you are not answering the question
2006-11-14 13:22:18
Sorry! I thought i did!

Increasing the Malaysian rank, first to the top 45, and second to the top 40. Setting small goals to start with then slowly progressing up the ranks.

Again my appologies to you toong
2006-11-14 13:32:23
now, that is better :)

how long will you take to do that, make your assumptions.
2006-11-14 13:34:48
winning and match performance the only way to measure your/malaysia success?
2006-11-14 13:39:23
how long will you take to do that, make your assumptions.

I think about 1 season to get to the top 40. That is my assumption... Dont hold me to that though.

winning and match performance the only way to measure your/malaysia success?

No it isnt. If Malaysia wins excellent performance, great result. If the NT plays an incredibly close game, say the the result is 3:2 or even 3:1, and the team plays competitively with the midfielders giving the attackers opportunities to shoot at goal. That is how Malaysia will succeed
2006-11-14 13:52:38
if you are not confident to get to 40th may be set a lower target? it is not whether i hold you to that but whether you can deliver.

3:1, 3:2, attack chances still you are talking about match performance, so winning/match performance will be your indicator of success?

You told me to make an assumption. That is what I assume.

In some ways yes, Match performance will be an indicator of success. My success would be on making a strong team for future NT coaches and even the next season.

Hope that answers what you have been asking...

i asked you to assumed something like if we follow your advice so players may get to certain level of skill with what kind of coach, you based on current players that available or you will consider those in junior squad and things like that. also how you come the that magic number of 40.

i guess u don't see your involvement here as 1 season affair, is there a need to jump much in 1 season? i am not sure how the ranking is calculated buy my guess is that getting 40th in 1 season is consider more than very good.

there is other way to measure if you deliver a promising team(good future)

In the first paragraph... i dont understand what you are trying to say. Could you please rephrase it.

Why did u come up with the magic number of 40? Honestly i do not know. The first goal would be to get to top 45. Then progressivley move up to top 40 and then keep going. There will also be new NT's coming into Sokker this season so Malaysia should move above them.

There really is no real need to jump so much in 1 season. However if Malaysia does achieve that goal it would show how much an active manager helps.

Obviously I do not see my involvement as a 1 season affair, I have been active in the forums for this last season and I do not see any reason why I wouldnt stay around in future seasons, not nesscesarily as the NT manager.

basically, the 1st paragraph i am explaining what i mean by assumption.

example, you may assumed
1. we follow your advise, we have in our team a good trainer
2. with that you think the average skill level of NT players will be at XX level in X seasons
3. if you take player coming out from junior squad into account or just players currently available
