Subject: [NT] Tigermaster

2007-02-04 14:34:13
Hey Malaysia,

Im tigermaster from Australia. I have been active in the Malaysian forums and been helping out with any members who have asked for it.

I have been playing sokker for about 15 months now and have experience with tactics and knowing how to build a team. I am currently in 2nd place in my league with all bar 1 team having an active user. I also have two Australian NT players who played in the game against Poland (Which Australia won).

If i am elected, i will make a tactic that suits the team the best, not my personal preferences. And will build a strong team to be able to compete with top teams.

Basically this season will be a learning curve for me if i get elected. As i will try out new tactics and formations.

If i get elected i will make up some competitions etc to get you team star player to play a game against one of the newer NT's. Just a way to get more involvement within the Malaysian community.

I will also be making a database for all the players. This would be essential to help develop the country in sokker. I would also recruit some of the malaysian players, even players from abroad who know more things about the game.

I will continue to help out wherever i am needed in the Malaysian forums even if i do not get elected.

Thanks for your time,
Tigermaster

must take my players into NT :p
2007-02-04 15:24:26
yeh will do... if they are good enough :P... wouldnt play all of them tho... there would be some better players in other positions :)

will you play a player that is not his best position(yet) but getting training in that area if you are the NT coach

If i am playing "Official NT Games" then no. Official meaning WC qualifiers, New Countries tournament etc. However, if i feel the player is near the standard of the NT, i would probably play them in a friendly NT match just to see how they play for the NT. Also form of the player will be dependant of whether they play or not.
For example player with Good skills, and divine form would make the team before a player with some Good and some Solid skills with Tragic form.

i am saying those already in NT, but current skill is best playing defender but has the potential to play mf and is being train on relevant skill to make him mf.

If they were a better defender and there were no better defenders around i would play them in defence. However, if the player's owner was training that player to become a mf and there were stronger defenders, then yes i would play the player in the mf.

too bad that you are more concern on current success than player's development.

I would however play the select player in the position that the manager wanted if they requested it. But if it were a crucial game, i would be more concerned with the NT's success, than the individual player for that week.

i wouldn't see New Countries tournament as crucial game but may be each person would see things differently
2007-02-04 16:32:31
Maybe not... but its a competition... i meant that a competition match would be more important than a friendly NT match. Now that Malaysia can not win the New Countries tournament it would be time to test out new players and new tactics.

i am more concern about the actual WC. What i am saying is that depending on your priority, you see current success being more important. i always think that this 2-3 seasons we can focus on developing better players, we have very little teams in Malaysia and we are new we won't go far in the near future. i know not many NT coach would share my idea that letting go of current success.

I could say to you that tigermaster is not the only one option. I was coach of Romania during 3 seasons. At the beginning i don't have the best results but I play with some 18 and 19-years old players which are now one of the best in sokker in their age (21-22 years). So i think I build a good team which now played on World Cup very well with Romanian coach. If you elect me i will try to do the same with Malaysia

In my opinion the same should be in Malaysia. Now you need someone with experience maybe Tiger.. maybe me. And after that 2-3 seasons someone from Malaysian community could be in charge of good well prepaired team

I think it is not so nice to post your remarks on your competitors campaign thread. Your track records, sokker experience, national experience and your passion of the game is certainly impressive, on par with Tiger or maybe even better. But this doesn't mean that you are in leading position for the election.

I might not represent Malaysia sokker users view generally, but what I feel is Tiger is active in Malaysia forum even before most Malaysia users join sokker and this includes me, certainly offers us alot of guidance. And in the last election, out of 20-30 candidates that claim to offer so much, but after Woob selected to be our national coach, Tiger is one of the losing candidates that still serve Malaysian sokker by offering helps to Woob on match tactic and talents identification and frequent Malaysian forum by some constructive view.

Thus, because of this, Tiger is certainly respected by most Malaysian users. And certainly it is normal for Malaysian users to give him priority on listening to his plan for Malaysian national coach candidacy. Don't worry, your chance will come, if we have any queries. But your election speech is impressive too, so don't really have much to ask now.

And again on my humble view, track records are not the only think we looking for. There might be others more important factors. And if you want the same treatment given to Tiger, maybe, just maybe, if you lose this election, you still come to Malaysian forum and help Malaysian users. Then for the next general election you will be honoured as well.

Don't get me wrong, I still not really decided who to elect, not sure to choose a coach who have impressive track records, or to choose a coach that know Malaysian sokker inside out that can work with Malaysian users well or a coach that have a better long term plan in developing Malaysian players, would like to weigh pros and cons before can made decision. If you have more things to sell, please post it on your election pages.

Just my humble opinion, hope you are not offended on my thought.

Tiger,

Will you continue Woob's policy by not selecting players that are not from active users, even the players are much more better than the existing one?
2007-02-04 19:41:11
i understand your opinion and i agree with this

I also read most of threads on this forum and i saw that Tiger was very helpful to you and did very good work. I didn't criticize him I was only trying to make some discuss about elections.

But as i have repspect to this what you said i won't write in Tiger's topic more. so if you or any other Malaysian have question for me I'm waiting in my topic now :]
