Subject: NT Questions to candidates - season 6

2007-10-18 13:43:23
Yeap, Tigermaster is doing the job. He did help me on some aspect which i don't understand, for me so far i didnt see any major problem when he take over malaysia last season.

I am supporting you, BUT i also hope i can do something for Malaysia.

We also can set a time whereby most of you can online chat, discuss or just share information in msn, so that indirectly it build the trust and relationship between each other. I think it will be more effective have a real time chat instead of posting message and wait for other reply. Right?

Ok toong,

Last season i was the scout for the NT, and i did sent sk-mail to most of the active player to enquire the player's skill (not sure whether you still remember it or not?). Of course i would be appreaciate if the manager report the skill to me. Last season i also contact few foreign manager who train Malaysia players. And report were sent back to me. Too bad that i only compiled 3 times of the player's skill last season. I was sent 2 time's players skill to Tigermaster.

Well, i have contact with other team managers such as Arsena!, TTHS, cwz, Malaysia Red Devil, Asia Devil, TapirDS Rovers, and Tigermaster through MSN. We did discuss about the situation, player's skill, training, Q&A and so on whereby it help each other to understand more about the game.

In fact i had started to post in some forum to promote sokker malaysia. I had start it from lowyat.net and i hope to see some response.

Latest Update: 13 Malaysians have already made the vote, how about the other 56?

Cant really disclose the skills of current NT players without the club owner's permission :P

The Last time i got info about most players was in the last 2 weeks (toong i believe i might not have asked you yet) through sk mail. I did in fact expect the manager to report the players skills to me as the subject most likely said the players name or NT players. Then at the end of the sk mail i signed it with my SN and then underneath Malaysia NT manager. However i only typed the NT manager part if i was not sure that the manager knew that i was the NT manager

e.g.
Thanks,
Tigermaster,
Malaysia NT Manager

etc

how would you communicate with us?

If i could i would try to make open forums i.e live online chats through msn or yahoo, through sk mails and through the forums.

@ mysprs

In regards to your questions about how to increase user interest and numbers. I have to agree with Wooikeim with what he has said. Both the Malaysian users and the NT coach need to help to gain interest in the NT and in the game.

Agreed again with Wooikeim about saying we need to maintain the user base in Malaysia as what we have it now. If we can not maintain the users we have, there would be no point really in getting new users as they would just do the same thing as what they did after jaworlegia spammed in other games. Join up - Find too hard - quit. (Nothing against Jaworlegia at all it was a great idea)

Once we have that solid user base (what we currently seem to have now) we can all work together in telling our friends about the game, going through soccer and futsal forums and even clubs.

The main point im trying to get across is that it wouldnt just be the sole responsibility for just one person to do all the work. It can best be achieved by everyone working together and working as a team
2007-10-19 19:28:03
Sure, understand it is everybody work. Even when jawo spamming last time, I offered myself and help him to spam and actually follow up, send mails to various users. I would say I have mail not less than 100 users. Mostly left, only a few still here. And I knew since then, there is a limit for what a person can do. More teams should involve.

That is why I praised you that you did make the good job for the relationship with certain teams and generate public interest in Malaysian users on NT matters. But I still feel, you ignore some of the lower division team, where they are the teams that need advise more. In short, I think you concentrated on just a countable team too much.

Just want to bring up this, as I think as candidate for Malaysia NT coach, one should have this awareness the need of working together with Malaysia users to maintain, expand and grow the NT together.

What I saw mainly in the candidate speech, is most saying how good they are, what is in their sleeves in the technical aspect, but none except wooikeim emphasizing that this part of communication is extremely important too with some suggestion. Candidate promise to strengthen Malaysia database without action point, is not really a promise after all. It might not be important for other NT team, but personally, I think for Malaysia case, this is very important. I would say we need a reform, on how things previously work between NT and the local managers more than any other thing else.

I have no complain on your achievement so far in the NT teams, and helping some team grows. Which is positive. But my personal opinion is you don't really interested on the less active teams, or try to do something about it or at least table it out and discuss with the Malaysian users what we can do together. To totally blame jawo for the decrease, is not fair to him, as I recalled, the percentage of dropping is much more when you in charge, compare to jawo.

I know how many mails I received from you since you are the NT. Not blaming you, but would like to see imporvement in this area, if you reelected again. We know, we need to do this together, but at least you need to bring this up on the season, guide us what we can do together, not during election time.

Cheers!

I think all the "active" candidates had do their best in answering you guy's question. If any other questions from you, just raise up.

In order to understand the candidate more, you also can ask different question for each and every candidates. At least we share among each other even though only 1 Winner. Am i right?

A) Tigermaster: Ok, 1 simple question here for my friend, Tigermaster. How do you describe Malaysia sokker in season 5? And if you selected as NT manager again, what will be the major changes in season 6 compare last season?

B) Pele: Second question for Pele. You as a quite experience manager, What do you think of the weaknesses of Malaysia Sokker other than number of user?

In my opinion there is a financial problem... Malaysia is a small country and you don't have so much money. You can't get better coaches to train your players so they aren't as good as players in other countries.

I have been mentor of some Malaysian players and I know how much money you get from sponsors...

You as a quite experience manager

Heh , if you want to know , I'm not playing sk since January 2007 , but since January 2006. My first team was blocked , but it was a mistake from Polish admins. They want to remove block , but it was too late.

I think that will be all , what I'd like to say about that problem. If you have any questions just ask :)

Edit: I had made a few mistakes :P

i think wooikem meant "you being quite an experienced manager, what is your take on this matter...." rather than challenging ur credibility. cheers

i saw many ppl asking question here, so i also want to ask something.

Malaysia 1- 3 India
what when wrong?
india only have 25 user.(many ppl said we are not strong bcos we got so less ppl playing sokker)

For this game i think is the tactical problem. Sorry Tigermaster, i'm not against you. As in if you watch the match, you will realize that our defensive line is a bit too far in front whereby the opponent have the chance to counter attack. The defender is out of their position when a long pass/counter attack by India.

Yes system5, number of player will definately affect the National team, other than that, right formation/ tactic against different team is more important.

Best Regards,
wooikeim

Pele said: "In my opinion there is a financial problem... Malaysia is a small country and you don't have so much money. You can't get better coaches to train your players so they aren't as good as players in other countries."

Well, this is an uncontrollable issue for us. We have no choice to make any decision on the financial. So can you give some possible ideas for us to work on to improve on the weaknesses that you can think of?
