Subject: Mini World Cup

Hi everyone,

Hong Kong will participate in the Mini World Cup. Why? Because almost every country is either still in the World Cup, or in this Mini World Cup. So if we don't participate, we won't have a lot of opponents to choose from... also, being a Mini World Cup, there are only the countries that didn't make it in the real WC.

Is not first time we participate . Last time we was rank 17 with 4 points in Mini World Cup , and only a random game make us be eliminated in round 1.

Difficult group for us, I think we can take Nigeria, but Sverige and Russia are too hard I'm afraid :/
But I'll do my best, and it's not impossible!

Not totally impossible to get something from Russia. Hong Kong got a draw with Russia once during my era, though that was a bit lucky. I think you may try to get another draw, or perhaps a win if things go really good.

We have to play against Sweden this saturday, and they are probably stronger than Russia, so I'll try my best in order to prevent a certain loss...
Also, Akandu Sze Ming is injured, and since he's one of our best defenders, it's gonna get even harder :/

Ouch... they were a lot better... our defense didn't do a good job, and my throw-in setup was weak :/

We we're lucky that we managed to score.

This is the 'average performance' of our defence, 4-1 is already a good result for us. As for the goal scored, if we can score goals like this in the game against Russia, we will probably end up with a win.

Well, hopefully we can get some points, preferably 3, against Nigeria tomorrow. Should be doable, they are the weakest of our opponents in the group. I have to say that they are still stronger than us, I'm afraid.

Yes, we'll probably win, so I'll give a few younger players a chance. We weren't supposed to play them, but I pressed accept instead of reject when I received their invitation...
