Marko. [del] to All
I'll paste there what I wrote on the election page:

Who I am
Hi all, my real name is Marco and I live in Foggia, Apulia (in Italy of course). I am 17 years-old and I'll be 18 next July the 19th (I'll finally drive the car YEAHH) and I'm attending the 4th year out of 5 of Scientific Lyceum (high school). In my spare time I do everything I like: play instruments: I'd like to learn Piano and Guitar, but now I'm enjoying the Syntherizer. Do lots and lots of training: tricks, gym and martial arts - actually I'm doing Larry Tatum's Kenpo as there are no Jeet Kune Do masters in my city. Of course play a lot of football: unfortunately I abandoned the agonistic career due to an injury to my left knee's patellar tendon, so now I play only with my friends (and in many ways it's better than the agonistic career). Watch movies: I love Robert Zemeckis' and David Lynch's movies above all, but I also enjoy a lot the movies with huge action, chase scenes, fights and so on. :) Read books: Isaac Asimov is the best writer ever I think. Listen to music: I love almost every kind of music, except pop. Jazz, Classical, Techno, Trance, Trip-hop etc. I can hear a peaceful classical track and soon after skip to a chaotic trance or techno song :D
And, last but not least, I am an Ultras of my city's football team: the U.S. Foggia from which I took my team's logo and basis.
As you can read I'm truly busy, so I don't play much videogames (I don't turn on my Playstation 2 since 5-6 months!) and I prefer to spend my time on pc writing on forums and, of course, playing Sokker. :)

This is important: I use a Macintosh!

My Sokker history
I've started to play Sokker approximately two years ago (2 May 2005) in the italian 4th division (Serie D). I subscribed to this game after my friend PiOO invited me saying "it's better than hattrick!". I'm still logging in on HT, but once every month, as Sokker is really better than hattrick.
In my first season I have been immediately promoted to 3rd division (Serie C.13), where I spent 3 seasons reaching the 3rd place in the first, the 2nd place in the second and the 1st in the last, when I have been promoted to the italian 2nd division (Serie B) in which I played 2 seasons, reaching the 2nd place in the first (for few points I didn't reach the 1st place) and the 6th place in this last one. (I won the qualification match last sunday so I'm still in Serie B)

During this two years I saw this game growing day by day, discussing on italian and internationals forum about everything, asking in bugs/ideas for new improvements (did you now I am the one who fixed the SK-time? It was 10 minutes late), discussing with other managers about this game in every single aspect, so all the experience I have got now I owe to this.

Italian National Team career
I have been an official member of Italian National Team staff since two seasons ago as the scout for strikers in the Under 21 team, and I worked together with the Italian NT coach ilmangu and the vice-coach Icci84, who is now running for the elections in Italy. I planned with them the Italy NT matches, growing more and more in tactics and in tips, and knowing how a NT works and how much strong are the other nations.

Why do I candidate myself
When I decided to candidate myself for NT elecions, the first country I thought to go has been Hong Kong. In fact I candidated myself here also in the previous season, but I didn't receive any vote.
I have choosed this coutry because I grew up in the myths of Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan, so of course I had to love Hong Kong ;)

The plan
I think Hong Kong threw away his last season because the coach Beuze did not care about this NT in details, and it's clear if you see the tactics he used (which are standard tactics - he didn't even create a tactic) and the players he called, most of which are from bot teams.

So I think we should start from the basis:

first of all it's fundamental to promote youths, and look for new users on other games like hattrick. (more users = more youths)
The next point is to assure them a great training, so in a first moment it could be better to sell them to more experienced managers who have powerful trainers.

On the tactic side, I will never resign any game or choose "chinese wall" tactics with no forwards as it's not my stile. I will always create tactics to have possibilities to win the match, and if we will lose, then at least we will have tried to play the match, and the next time we will win.

My work will be dedicated to plan the future on this NT, which is now very shadow.

The staff
My staff will basically be made up of some italian users with which I grew up in this game. This is the staff:

Markolo (me) - coach
PiOO - scout
Billygoat - scout
Erpes - scout

They will be also my assistants and I will plan every match with them.

Of course we will make a database of Hong Kong players.

If anyone of you Hong Kong users wants to join my team, he is welcome, anyway we will always talk on the forum about the NT and every critic or advice will be well-accepted :)

Oh dude, couldn't you write this a little bit shorter? ;-))

Nevertheless, almost the only serious statement ...

My questions: Why do you need 3 scouts?
How do you wanna plan the matches with them? Are they living close to you so that you can visit each other to set the tactic or how will it work?
2007-03-07 09:53:52
I think no HK staff no chance to win ;)

The staff can make the difference between a well-done job or a superficial job, since I'm not God :P

It's important to have many point of view for a match or a player, to check every particular and to plan everything in the best way.

I have also given them the role of scout because in this way everybody can concentrate on his duty and do his best. (each one will be the scout for DEF or MID or ATT, not all together)
There will be an online database (as the italian one) on which we will put the players we follow, so everybody in the staff will be able to see their skills and the date they've been refreshed.

> Are they living close to you so that you can visit each other to set the tactic or how will it work?

No, we don't live nearby, but with the technology we have today it's not a problem for sure; see, you are fron Swiss, I am from south of Italy and we are talking with Crossroads who lives in the opposite part of the world. In short, we will be always in contact via chat (msn or every other program) as we do every day :)

Ok, sure! ;-)

I was just wondering about the tactics, if the scouts have influence on it or not and if yes, how?

But if you'll send each other print screens and these kind of stuff ok ... you convinced me ... ;-)

Anyway, you don't have to convince me, but the HK users ;-)

Where is HK staff? I see only 1 "HK" and he's banned
2007-03-07 19:26:20
Hi
Everything for Hong Kong
2007-03-07 21:34:12
I'm not convincing anyone, I'm only explaining my method :)

if the scout has an opinion on one movement or one position, then we will discuss together in the staff and we will take a decision ;)
2007-03-07 23:37:05
Hmm ... yeah, you're explaining your method, but with this method you try to convince the HK community that they vote for you ... ;-)
2007-03-08 14:22:14
*convince* is not the right verb ;)

I am trying to show how will my work be, then if HK users likes it they might vote me :)

Anyway thank you for your questions, without you this thread would have been almost a desert :)
