That's a disaster for me. I thought I can line-up Akandu Sze Ming since his name is black in the line-up. But the fact is that he is suspended, and the place is replaced by a player with low stamina which is supposed to be sub. Without Akandu Sze Ming, the midfield performs very badly and make a lot of useless passes. But I think the new tactic has allowed the team to have some pressing on the Scottish side, and in fact, we did some nice pressing in the final 1/3 of the match.

You did, abcde, some pressing with the tactic but only some. Most of the time our DEFs were running from the ball allowing Scots to score from distance or to centre. I think you should ensure at least one DEF to be on the ball while it is on our side. What is the point if they can not even touch it and are just running to and fro. Of course I do not know our players and probably Scots were simply better but still, I think, it could be better than it was.

I think abcde as no guilty after all, scottish NT is stronger in in every skill, they are much faster and they have much more technique. In my opinion this is why the pressing was partial.

anyway, Abcde take this result easy, watching Italy NT matches I've seen a lot of large result like this one, it's 90% due to a gap of skills. ;)

it is obvious that the coach can`t adopt the same tactic for every match

it is obvious that the coach must change the tactic in order to use players' full potential in the kind of play he wants to do

it is obvious that the coach must convocate the NT players from time to time

it is obvious that the coach must study the opponent

it is obvious that every match must be treated as a single-standing most important match

it is obvious that players must be chosen depending on their skills and form

it is obvious each game is different from another one

it is obvious that you can't use a high defence against strong teams

I started to play sokker 24 April 2005, you started 5 January 2006, how is it possible that we've player the same number of seasons?

Yes, you've never ended lower than 4th place, but in which league? League IV, the fourth level, which I left behind me in my first season ever in this game.

In my first championship in Serie B (italian 2nd level) I missed the promotion to Serie A (worldwide famous) for only 1 point.

What's your greatest success? Have you got one? You can't nor get the promotion to the League 3, you lost your last match 1-3 against a team much weaker than yours, and you're trying to say that I'm not good and you are good.

Well, I would not be so sure that it is obvious that you can not use a high defence against strong teams. I would rather say that a high defence is a key against strong teams. You have to risk when you are facing a great opponent cause otherwise you will lose anyway.
Other obviouses you mentioned are obvious, I agree.

OK, have you ever tried it? And even though, I would rather take a fighting chance, play it high and lose 0:20 than play it low and lose 0:8. But anyway, I am not going to be the HK NT coach. It will be your task to decide if HK team keep its last position with as few lost goals as possible or take pot luck and try to win something.

I see you do not understand what I am writing about. Playing high gives you a chance for draw and even for win. As I assume you do not know what it is about cause you do not want to play for winning but only for not losing. THAT is sad.
And I do not get what is more humiliating in losing 0:20 than 0:8?

mate each game have his own tactic and his own story, simple you can use a special tactic each game, each time will be different so let`s drop it because is better in this way.

It means you don't know anything of what happened in sokker NT world in the past.

this match is very famous.

Magyarország won this match only for its tactic. It has been the highest chinese-wall defence ever. It forced scottish strikers to play on midfield, and cut the distance from its own strikers, making also the DEFs able to make assists for the forwards. Obviously it had wingbacks going ahead to help when attacking.

If you think it was only luck, check the stats: Scotland 4 shoots, Magyaroszàg 13 shoots.


and remember, losing 0-8 or 0-20 is the same thing at all, you get no points. It's how you lost that makes the difference.


Pressing is the best way to destroy opponent's playmaking maneuver.

Magyarország did it again when playing against England.

this match is also more important, not only because England is stronger than Scotland, but also because England's strikers have been caught in the offside trap, while Scotland at least put them on midfield knowing that Magyaroszag would have adopted this tactic based on offside.

Again: final result 2-5 with 5 shoots by England and 13 by Magyaroszag.

if your objective is to lose conceding as less goals as possible, why don't you use a tactic like this?
