Not surely. You know, there's a tactic called 5-3-2 :) With the current team of Japan, I don't think that a winger can beneficial for example. An effective winger needs both high passing, technique and pace and I guess there's no such player in the squad right now (correct me if I'm wrong, I don't know the mids except Miyazawa)

if you want to put problems at big teams you need winger with pace,tehnique,passing and playmaking of course.if you don't have wingers high at this skills it would be better to put pressure in centre of opposition defence.:)

Today we played our last match in Mini World Cup.
We played with Hellas u21 team;)

It was good match with similar squads and we won 2-1 ;)

Good match i think with better tactics than last :)

The draw for the latest edition of the Mini WC has been determined. We have a pretty tough group, by paper, Nippon has the 3rd strongest team. We need to upset either Ireland or Cymru to go through.

After last week's annoyingly close match against Cuba, this time we created the upset we needed and defeated the mighty Ireland. Our win was quite lucky, Sahara had a great share in earning the victory with his brilliant saves, and I have to praise Toda as well, whose efficiency suddenly improved a lot.

We have 6 points with this, but we can still end up third in the group if Cymru defeats us and Ireland wins against Cuba next week, so we're not safe yet. Well, that's assuming Cymru will beat Cuba today.

Despite losing to Cymru 2-0, we managed to hold onto the second place in the group thanks to our better goal difference. However, due to the format with 9 groups our 6 points with a weak goal difference was not enough to grant Nippon a place among the seven best runner-ups, and thus we eliminated from the tournament unfortunately.

Nevertheless I'm pleased with our performance since we outplaced a much stronger team, Cymru in the group. Our victory against Ireland was a very nice result and Nippon held out well against Cymru too, although they were clearly superior to us. I think Nippon showed that the team is capable to put up a fight against stronger teams which is a good sign for the forthcoming matches.

We were meant to play with Andorra this week, but they got into the best 16 in the Mini World Cup, so we're going to have a match with Azerbaijan instead.

Thanks :) Indeed it was a hard group, even the 4th team, Cuba, was quite good and on top of that the team had an unlucky match against them. Toda can create a lot of chances but he also misses a lot :/
