This season, same as two others ago, is going to be organized too the U21 World Cup.
Thoug I am in no way related with its organization, I think it would be quite good for Nippon to participate. As our NT needs younger players for thinking in the future it could be an excellent oportunity to call for them and discover who could be our possible future stars (of course, new junior candidates should be searched, as we will need some more once a lot of our juniors are now 22yr).
Also, U21 teams are a bit less overhelming that their senior counterparts, so out team could perhaps have some chances of getting a bit better results.
I have signed for a place (just in case, to not be left out if a huge number of teams sign from now to the Sunday), but the new coach should confirm or reject our participation there.

Hmm I think start there is good idea but..
Japan have little chances to qualify
u21 teams isn't so good :(
Japan can play matches u21 with other teams strong like japan with u21 players too ;)
I will have to think about start (if i win of course;p)

You're right, Japan doesn't have great chances but ...
- in the qualification the teams won't be much better than you
- in the next WC qualification almost all teams will be better than Japan, so I think it's a good very good test for that!
- all managers will take it seriously, while in friendlies managers tend to not invest that much time in tactics ...
We actually have the same "problem" in Ireland, almost nobody likes to take part in this U21 WC ...
But I think you can learn much more from matches you lose than from matches you win, and you'll see especially how you have to set your tactics against teams which are much better ...
