Hi! welcome!
I Think to start it's better to concetrate more to train your first team. I think it's better start from next season with junior when you have more money.

Anyway your question depend on how much money you can manage. I think level 9 of skill (for coach) to start can be good. For number of Junior, every saturday can come from 1 to 6 junior (it's random), so usually you have to leave free 6 place before saturday. But of course depend alway of your money.

hmm i think that in second season you would start juniors school when you have much money;)

Welcome hamrlik! I think in my first season, I started with a very good or excellent junior coach (general rating), but it was a struggle to pay his weekly salary. If you are confident about being smart about buying and selling players, then in my opinion, it's not a bad idea to have a pretty decent junior coach, but it's a lot of work to make sure that you don't go into debt! Otherwise, like the others have said, worry more about your senior team and getting promoted for your first season.

Welcome, hamrlik :)

As I know, the best jr coach to start with would be an Excellent one (at least that is what I was recommended), as cheap in salary as possible (1,120,000 -1,280,000 ¥, but better if less).

About the places, each Saturday you will get from 1 to 6 juniors (4 is the average result), so you will need to have 1 place for each junior you already have, plus 1 place for each new recruit you expect to get (maximum 6, if more you will los money).

About the weeks, it depends. I had juniors who entered from 2 weeks, to 31. The more weeks, the better, as the will have more time to pop levels (thoug the speed depends on their talent).

I would recomend to reject all the junior who could enter with these levels:

tragic - all
hopeless - all
unsatisfactory - all
poor - less than 25
weak - less than 20
regular - less than 15

and give a try the rest. Obviouly, if you discover that some have bad talent, you can sack them at any moment (calculate them to exit from the school at solid level as minimum (solid not guarantees a good junior, but he could be quite decent in some skill).

The higher the start level and number of weeks, the better.

Good luck, and I hope you to like the game and stay with us ;D
