Subject: NT matches: World Cup

2007-05-03 06:32:09
brokus is right. we're satisfied with fourth place and I believe you've been doing a very good job.

I know it's early to talk about it, but I hope you try to re-elect for the position in the next elections. 2 seasons at least :)
2007-05-03 22:24:38
I don't know. Maybe I will leave the place for somebody else to receive the hits )p

But thank you for the cheers :D (I needed it)

Don't worry about it;) Having a Nippon NT-player is cool:d
You can't help it either that there are so little good youth pulls..

yes, fourth place is not a bad one. I think in the next season Japan can qualify to the world cup with a little luck and good tactics, because players will be much better.:) Go Japan,go Japan!:D:D

Japan made so great progress as a recently-founded country in Sokker.

I wish Japan can make better achivement in the next World Cup.:)

Well, little we can do when our best defenders can not touch the rival attackers (althoug at least we repeated result and avoided them to score more) :(

Let's wait to see what happens next week in a more skill-balanced match :?

Well, another tie (but better than a loss ^^) in a quite balanced match. We missed some oportunities to score, but also them. Al least the match was not boring :)

A pity the injury of Ono. I hope he can recover soon :(

Btw, these are the stats of Group J. I think we do not go too bad, seeing the relative strenghts. None of our players is in the lists of best ones, but anyway you can see in their marks what 'monsters' are we playing against :S

Well, another big loss this week, sorry but there is little more we can do vs these strong teams, other than playing with 10 DEFs, and I fear thre will be then little difference (perhaps less goals, but the same losses).

We need Stamina. The NT has very valuable players, but half of them has the Stamina in ridiculous skills. It gives us no possibility of variety, when indeed not all the starting 11 are capable of playing more than half the matches without need to be substituted. There are really good and promising players who are loosing their opportunities to play due only to their useless Stamina X(

I'll try our NT to do a good paper also vs Canada, perhaps with some major changes, but I fear that our possibilities of getting a good result are more that very remote :S

I'll train stamina in midseason;)

But I think it's better in the long run to keep training defence/pace during the weeks where I play Arai in my leaguegames.

Well, having bet this match for speed (unfortunately no good result, as they were anyway a lot faster than ours), the score was another loss by 7-0 vs Canada, the same result as in the other match. Of them, one goal by penalti, and another in own keep: perhaps this goes turning a bit better, althoug slowly :)

To be noted: the great work of our keeper Matsuo (:D). Also we missed Ono in this match, as he was resting from his light injury, thoug I hope he will be full recovered for the next one.

Next week we will play our last WC official match vs India. Our team will try to close his participation in the qualificatios with a victory, though it will be a hard fight as the Indians are also progressing well at a pace similar to us. Anyway, let's see what happens, and not to have a lot of bad luck ^^

wow, arai suddenly has a rating of 45 :o
where did that come from? :p
2007-06-10 12:10:48
Arai is a very good defender, but it's a pity that his low Stamina does not allow him to play more minutes :S
