Subject: NT matches: Friendlies
chi [del] to
All
Apart from the qualifications for the WC, there will be some spare weeks for friendlies. Nippon has already one match scheduled, and two pending of confirmation (I'll make a organized calendar and discuss with the other managers along the week).
Our first friendly will be versus Hellas (Greece), on April 7th. The details (stadium, type of match...) are pending, but I'll post them as soon as possible (as well as other matches' which could be arranged) ;)
Some of the friendlies could be U-21 matches, to test our younger players and give a rest to our veterans (who will had a hard time surviving the WC).

Confirmed:
April 7th
Nippon - Hellas
(U-21 match)
^^
Also there are pending of details the following matches:
- Republica Dominicana (June 2nd or June 23rd, date pending of agreement)
- Venezuela (July 7th)
There are 3 dates remaining for matches (I am searching, but I prefer going settling the matches/dates one by one). If somebody knows of a country available, or which could like to play versus us, please tell me any suggestions ;)
If possible, I will try to arrange the friendlies in middle of the official WC matches as U-21, and by League system. This way I hope to test better our younger players in more even conditions, and give our veterans some rest (and save them from risk of unnecesary injuries). In dates after the WC matches' end, perhaps I can accept other settings (though I will continue preferring playing U-21 if possible, with an eye put in the future of our NT ^^).

I'll have already set the match, as we will go on holidays until Sunday and I probaly could not connect before (though I'll try, if I find a cyber).
There have been 4 new additions to our NT, as we lacked asome juniors to fill all the positions and reserve places for the U21 NT. They mostly come from the already observed juniors, but some labour of scouting has helped (to find a new good junior GK, as we had only one less of 25 ^^).
Alhoug many are not in a preferable condition (Stamina) I think there are enough to maintain a good level with the substitutions. Greece's juniors can be a stronger team, but ours will try to fight them hard -or I hope so- :)

It has been difficult to find a rival for this Saturday, as most teams have already all their season's matches scheduled, but I have found some and we have match! :D
Our next match will be:
May 5th
Bosna i Hercegovina - Nippon
(U-21 match)
As a lot of WC matches remains yet, we have agreed it a U21 match (to reduce injury risks to our veteran and best players) :)
This will give us some breath, as the match will be amongst juniors, but Bosna i Hercegovina has a lot more of teams, so their youth's quality probably (sure :S) will be anyway above ours.
It 's no problem (because we can do nothing about it ^^), but if you have some NT junior in your team, please send me his updates, if not already done. We will see what they are capable of doing ;)

what are the requirements for juniors to be in NT?
I sent you all my players and all of them are U-21 except Natsuka.

Well, depends on position. Minimum good/solid in their position main skills, and preferably balanced for their role (and of course, the best Stamina, the better ^^)
Send me the skills of who you think he could serve (we have some very promising U21 players in the database, but they very few, as most are older ones).

Nippon wins its first match with decision!
I'm not sure if it was maybe bad luck of our rival coach, who perhaps made an unfortunate selection of his players or tactic, but our juniors performed very well, with an extraordinary display of good team work, and got a very good result in their second (U21) match this season.
Maybe now the veterans of the fist team became a bit ashamed, and make an effort to play harder to not be under the level of the younger :)
Let's hope it to be true, and to see a beeter play (and results!) in the matches which remains.
^^ *happy* ^^

very well :) Remember about Kumagai;p he pop and pop with his skills ;p only for NT :))
How about my ex player kumagai?
anaway Banzai never had a player who played in NT..... at least Akahoshi, one match in friendly i think he can play:)
He'll become the best GK in japan, but also now he is already one of the best!
