Well, our team starts this season's WC with a victory vs Panamá by 3-1, which could have been greater, as our players made a lot of shooots to the posts :)
Next week we will playy vs Moldova, one of our rivals from last WC. In both our last matches the results wer two ties by 1-1, so lets hope the score to be a bit better for our team this time ;)

Congrats to the victory, I was watching the match, and yes, your players should have scored much more! ;-)
Hiraoka had three shots on the post ...
One question: Why did you substitute the keeper?

Great game chi and good performance of the players.
Hi.
Both keepers are quite good (actually they are the 2 best ones at the moment) and similar in skills, but also they are quite low in Stamina, so I calculate for them to complement half a match each.
I would prefer that any of them had at least solid Stamina to risk putting him all the match, gaining one substitution for the other positions, but as these are the official matche I also do not want to risk one of them having a bad performance and receive extra goals for that :(

Stamina? But GK never move, I think they don't need so much stamina
I'm teo's opinion aswell!
A GK doesn't need to have stamina because he almost never moves ...
@chi: I think it's probably better to substitute another player instead of the GK ...

Yep, they don't move too much, but I am not sure about if the stamina loss could depend on position (I mean, the GKs to have a different fatigue rate rate -for instance, some Stamina loss each ball stopped, or each run towards the ball, etc-).
If not, I would not see point in training Stamina to keepers, as they would perfect ok as they do not fatigue in the match, which it would make some nonsense.
Anyway, perhaps I should ask about it to some dev for a clue (thoug I think they rarely answer, unfortunately)

Hmm ... I just can say what I read in all the forums I'm active (all German language forums and the international forum), and the general opinion is that stamina is unimportant for GKs ...
It's even better if they don't have too high stamina, because that's resulting in lower wages ...
Maybe Leogar can add his opinion here, he's admin ...

Ok, I am going to try to ask for some clues. Thank you :)
all forum, english and italian write the same thing: high stamina is no important for GK.
i think it's enough 6 level

It's more important than a lot of people realise, mostly because GKs only get around 5% or less of the offensive action in a game.
With a nation such as Nippon which won't have the quality, the GK will be busier and stamina could play a big part in the second half.
If a game goes to extra time, and especially penalties, stamina on a GK can be a real difference maker.

Well, surely we will need as much strenght as possible in the keep in some matches (vs España, for instance) ^^
This week the match is vs Moldova. A tough rival with quite hard players, but not so much as to consider the difference out of reach, and of course our boys will try to win theirs :D
Unfortunatey, it is a real pity that Hiraoka and Miyazawa are injured for some weeks, as they would have been very usefull in this match and the next ones. I hope they can recover as fast possible, and that injuries can keep away from our remaining NT players.
I will not be around this weekend, as I will travel this Friday to attend the wedding of and old friend, but I leave the match set and ready (I can't tell any clues, just in case some Moldovian spies could be watching) ;P
Let's hope a good match (and with good result also, if possible ^^)

Loss 0-2 :(
Tough our team played well, our ATTs didn't manage to resolve the good opportunities. Also our DEFs made a good job, but the rival exploited our few mistakes there to score.
Let's hope to have the revenge in the return match. Next season our team will resto from the NT and will play vs Senegal. I hope we can see an interesting and balanced match in preparation for the thougher ones to come the following weeks :)

Sorry by being missing, but unfortunately this week I had nearly no free time :(
Not a bad result vs Belarus, only loss by 1-0. With some more luck we maybe could have tied, but also is to say that our DEFs, and over them our GKs did a marvellous work, saving everything the Belarussian kicket to our keep (thoug one entered at last). But they did a great job anyway :D
Next match will be very tough, as Slovensko is a big country. Our boys will fight nevertheless, but we will need the same luck as vs Belarus, and probably much more... :S
Unfortunately, we have a lot of injuries heavy and light amongst our best players, specially in the middlefield, so I will try to put the best line up possible due to these circumstances and to allow rest to the injuried ones :(

Well, the fact that Spain is the current WC sub-champion showed by itself, as our team simply was not a match for such a quality.
Having remaining injuries in the middle and attacking lines, I chose the best combination we could in Defender and Pace whenever possible. But indeed, that was not enough, as our boys simply were outmached nearly everytime (maybe Arai was the only one who could approach himself to face their effectivity).
Anyway, I think our players fared well given their possibilities. The defence made waht they could, and our GK were fantastic. Th objective (I must say) was to get no more than 10 goals against, and the score was quite below that number :D
We will face Spain again in the next WC match. Though a win for us is really utopian, maybe we could bring some changes next match, to see waht happens.. ;)
