The election period has arrived! It is your chance to have the opportunity to stand for election as the national team coach (either Senior or U21) of any nation, and vote a senior and U21 manager for your own nation.

To access the election page, go to the respective country homepage, then click on National Team, and then Elections.

If you stand for election, it is recommended that you open ONE thread in the appropriate country forum after the elections start. Please prefix your thread with [NT] or [U21] , e.g. [NT] greg or [U21] damian. Please do NOT spam forums, SK-mail people directly for votes, or spam users Guest Books. Any of these spam activities will result in forum banning and/or a financial fine.

Please remember that a user who has been elected as an NT manager will not be able to resign from their job. Therefore when you stand for the NT job, it is not only for fun, it is also your responsibility to serve the full term which the people that voted you into the job thought you should serve.

The elections will begin on 23rd of March and will end on the 6th of April at 22:23. So start asking candidates tough questions, and voting for who you want to be as your next National Team coach!

Season’s greetings!

Christmas has arrived on Sokker and Santa has brought a gift for every user; all users will receive a full day of Plus. This will be active on the 25th December only.

Use this day to view the additional features that plus provides, such as the new 3D match viewer for games, team statistics, or you could even design your match kit and much, much more.

Hello sokker managers,

I want to share with you about my experience buying PLUS and COINS. This news not an official news from developers team. It is from me. I saw some user have problem when paying with Dotpay. They have to wait for days after their PLUS transaction to get their PLUS activated. Sometime Dotpay reject their transaction and sokker did not know the reason.

So, from my own experience, i want share with you, if you want to buy PLUS and/or COINS, it is better to use paypal payment method. Your PLUS or COINS will be activated automatically in a few seconds after your transaction complete.

I already prove it. I use paypal to buy PLUS and COINS for my friends in my country. And the result, their PLUS and COINS activated only few seconds.

if you do not have credit card, you can buy virtual credit card (VCC) then verified your paypal account. after that, you can buy paypal balance to the paypal balance seller at your country.

It is now possible for managers to purchase Coins. Coins can be used to give you access to several Plus options should you not want to use all the Plus options in the Plus subscription.

You can purchase Coins in the Sokker Store which can be found on the 'Plus' Page.

Coins will provide various plus options, including the possibility to skip advertisements prior to games, and the option to allow you to play arcade games.

More information about Coins will be added shortly.

Payments made through PayPal or Dotpay will now be processed instantly. If you purchase Plus through these options, you should receive your Plus within a few minutes of the payment being made.

This week we are introducing two interesting changes.

Plus users will now be able to play a friendly match every day in "Arcade mode".

The basic principles of this type of game are as followed:
* Arcade games are only possible between two teams with Plus active.
* A team can only play one game per day, however arcade matches will not be possible on Wednesdays.
* Arcade games are for fun and have no effect on reality; injuries and cards are not saved after the game, and the match has no impact on training. You can play all players in arcade games, even if they have injuries or red cards which prevent them from playing normal games.
* Teams are able to set the start time of the match from 09:00 to 2:59 CET.
* You can play the match on the same day as it is organised, but remember to give teams time to adjust their lineup.

Our second change is an 'ad break' before watching games as a non-Plus user. You can easily remove this and at the same time support the development of Sokker by purchasing Plus.

We are approaching the time to introduce important modifications on the Sokker website. These changes are mainly of a technical nature, relating primarily to how pages are displayed. These modifications do not bring anything new to the game, or visible changes; however there could be complications for users using custom skins. These modifications were made for several important reasons.

The first reason for these modifications is for the desire to adapt Sokker for smartphones and tablets. This will be the beginning to create an official application for iOS and Android users. It is one of the most important upcoming projects, with many users eagerly awaiting these applications.

The second reason why we have introduced these changes is due to several problems with the positioning of pages in the current format. In addition, the url addresses of subpages were hidden for users, which made it difficult for users to share their latest matches, news publications etc. since you could not copy the url address easily. The modifications will make the url addresses more visible to users and more easily obtained.

The third reason for the changes is due to graphical modifications which we are planning upon the website. We have already prepared a new design and these modifications will make it easier to implement the design. The graphical changes are aimed at new users visiting the page, as the current design is quite outdated.

Another important reason for the changes is to improve our method of placing advertisements on the website. Advertisements are not the users’ favourite part of the website, but thanks to advertising, the game can be free in its basic version. The easiest and recommended method by us to get rid of ads is to buy plus, which removes ads when you view the website.

The need to adapt skins for new conditions is a result of these changes. The official skins have already been adapted, but skins from other sources will need to be modified by their respective authors. We do not recommend the user of the old skins in the new layout, because the page is likely to not display correctly. In the coming months, we anticipate further changes to the website coding, therefore keep that in mind if you are a creator of skins.

The home page has been modified, in order to be friendlier for new and existing users. The URLs of the pages are now in a more readable form, both for users and in web searches too. The graphic design at the moment is unchanged, but as mentioned, in the future it will change. Work is ongoing on a new look of the home page and website to make it more attractive for new users.

We also noticed a possibility of making a link to Sokker available in many different ways from your club page. You will be able to invite people to Sokker in a more convenient method and you will receive 10 days of Plus for every 10 new members who register from your invitation.

Making these changes requires further refining by changing URL formats, as at the moment not all components are working as intended. Therefore so far, we invite you to test the new version at:

Currently, we focus on creating an official Sokker application and mobile version of the website. In the future we would like to make changes in training, in accordance with the expectations expressed in surveys. Ultimately, the training has to be more realistic and more interesting, but less dependent on matches played. But we aim to maintain continuity and any changes in training will be introduced gradually, to assist with people who have training programs for their players. We will inform you about the details in advance.
