Today we have introduced skins to Sokker Manager.

Skins allow you to customise the graphics in Sokker Manager to make them look the way you like best. They do not change the functionality of the site, just how it looks.

To change skins, go to the bookmark "Media" and select a different css file. There are currently two skins: default and test.

It is also possible to create your own files. You will need to define suitable links to graphic elements, types, colours etc. We hope that you will host your own skins to allow users the possibility to use them.

Please note that in the future some improvements will be made to the css file and it will be necessary to fix your own skin.

From now on, every single player could refuse the proposal of being auctioned.

It will depend on:
- the number of matches played for the club - the less he played, the more he would hesitate
- the number of players sold within 2 weeks (including players put up for sale)
- form of the player - the worse it gets, the chances of his rejection increase (lower affect)
- mood of the supporters - the worse, the better acceptance for rotations (lower affect)


Regulations mentioned above exclude the players from our initial game squad and from our youth school.

Temper of the players shouldn't affect normal users. If it happened so, the coefficients would be modified.

Day Trading Regulations II are to be introduced today.

In an effort to limit daytrading (DT) some changes will be introduced to Sokker in the near future, probably next week.

Suggested changes include:

- Users will not be allowed to sell a player until he has made at least one appearance in a match (league, cup or friendly)

- Introduction of a special profit tax from sold players, who have not played at least 3 matches at the club (or other limitation). This tax would not occur for juniors from the school or players that have been with the club from the beginning.

These are only suggestions, so please contact us if you have any other ideas.

We are glad to announce that Sokker is available in a number of new languages:

- Čeština
- Deutsch
- Eesti,
- Español
- Italiano,
- Portugues

They are not official versions, and still waiting for correct, especially Italian version. As it will be done, we will choose the spokesmen for each version to release the news.

We hope that our language family will continue to grow as fast as Sokker.

We are pleased to announce 7 new country leagues in Sokker manager:
- Colombia,
- Ireland,
- Nigeria,
- Peru,
- Romania,
- Serbia & Montenegro (Srbija i Crna Gora),
- Uruguay
Other countries were expanded:
- Argentina (32 leagues)
- Belgium (32 leagues)
- Brasil (64 leagues)
- Denmark (32 leagues)
- Deutschland (64 leagues)
- Eesti (32 leagues)
- England (64 leagues)
- France (64 leagues)
- Italy (64 leagues)
- Mexico (64 leagues)
- Poland (256 leagues)
- USA (32 leagues)
At countries which are expanded:
- of 32 new leagues – at play offs will play winners and 2nd places
- of 64 new leagues – at play offs will play only winners

Unfortunately we will not able to add all of new countries. Database were incomplete, so the new countries will be added at the start of the next season.

Today we are moving server to the new localization. Sokker will be unavailable since 19:00 till midnight. Server IP will be changed so please refer by www.sokker.org.

We have made some modifications to the game engine. These will affect all friendly matches starting today until the end of the season.

The modifications are:

- Fixed all bugs relating to the offside rule, including:
   - position for a restart following offside,
   - offside after opponent players misplace their passes.
   - bugs involving the failure to award offside have been removed
- Defenders will pass the ball more quickly than previously,
- Long shots are added (sometimes it’s possible to lob the GK),
- The match engine will now allow international matches.
- It will be possible to change the GK`s kit (this will be added later).

If we have forgotten about any other bugs with the game engine, please contact us now as it’s better to remind us whilst we are making improvements.

We apologize for the lack of availability of sokker at peak periods over the past few weeks. This has been due to an increase in site traffic leading to the need for substantially faster internet connection.

We have been extremely busy working to solve this issue, however were recently let down by an internet provider, delaying the upgrade.

However we are now pleased to announce that we have found a new host for the site that will provide substantially faster access than before.

We will continually work to increase the performance of the site and we thank you for your patience and support.
