TMP does the double in S20!

Team Moose Power has capped off a fantastic season 20 with a win against once Australian Sokker power-house The Black Flashes. The win sealed TMP's first ever A-League title. Winning the A-League title had been a distant dream for TMP's manager Vivski since starting Sokker back in 2006. In July 2010, Vivski's dream became reality.

The A-League title was the second major prize TMP secured this season. Earlier, the club overcame Besiktas, Losers, Cumlionibus on its way to the semi final of the Australia Cup competition. The next two games would prove to be blockbusters! TMP first managed to get the better of Comets in an epic 3:2 struggle, finally getting the win courtesy of a goal to Stegeman in extra time. Then in the Cup Final, TMP and Froggies treated a full-house at the Chris King Memorial Stadium to a 5:4 goal-fest! The decisive moment, a penalty, expertly converted by Croxall in the dying minutes. With this win, Team Moose Power lifted the Australia Cup for the first time.

Vivski: "To win just one of these two competitions in Australia is a huge achievement. It's something we've been striving for for many years. For us to win both the A-League and Australia Cup this season is very special. Wow!"


TMP has been working on building a world-class defensive unit, and this season all that effort paid off; the team conceding just 11 goals in the entire A-League season!

Vivski: "In the A-League, Comets and Tribe were hot on our heels; two clubs I have tremendous respect for. Knowing that we've beaten the best is very satisfying and gives me great confidence that the club is here to stay as a force in the A-League."
