This truly is a remarkable season for TMP. Had you told me at the start of the season that I`d be unbeaten to the halfway point sitting a game clear in 2nd, I would have called you crazy. I honestly thought I`d be struggling to stave off auto-relegation. When you look at the quality of the competition in this league, you`d be excused for agreeing.

The start of the season saw a shift in training for the team and a shift in personnel. Most notably the purchase of a keeper, a central def and a central mid which set the team back the best part of $3m, funded by the transfer of some quality trainees.

Some good performances and some good luck helped to overcome the recent injury woes and overcome some of the better teams in the comp.

The highlights of the season so far are the 1:1 draw against II.03 champion and the recent 2:1 win against former A-League and Australia Cup runner-up and mentor FC de Bears.

I can only hope to replicate the current form in the second half to finish in a strong position. The fans are loving this and they`re not the only ones over the moon!
