Yes. In Ireland we've already been doing it with the youths but it takes a long time and when you import updates from Excel, obviously you've either got to Hyperlink them all over again or copy and paste them all again.

He's scripted the export so that the pid is incorporated into the url but it's done in a strange way where the HYPERLINK isn't shown and you can't edit in the player name to tidy it up.

Instead of

=HYPERLINK("http://online.sokker.org/player.php?PID=8859560","Danny Dealhunty")

Which just shows up as Danny Dealhunty

it's

http://online.sokker.org/player.php?PID=10041693

Which shows up as

http://online.sokker.org/player.php?PID=10041693

And you need to double click it to activate the link, then click again to use it.

though it was better to hyperlink the ID rather than the name tbh. Its weird how it isnt instanty activated in excel tho

Why not both?
I'd imagine it's a security thing for Excel, although I think when I copied and pasted the national teams I think it was auto linked, so I'm not sure what the problem is.

right i have changed the script now. Can someone try it who hasnt updated already today so that it will actually run. If not i will try it again tomorrow.

Are you still having problems with age updates from the Form Updater? Our didn't work on Friday but was fine on Saturday

I think I dont have that form updater tool.

Strange, it's under Requirements.

Anyway, rtg, if you can't do the hyperlinking thing it's best to put it back how it was. It's a massive pain in the arse at the moment.

Nevermind, server error came because of using Safari (Apple's browser) in stead of FireFox


age update = ok now :)
