Subject: Inter Football Manager App

Has this been discussed somewhere else? I can't find a thread for this...
I just clicked on that logo on the upper right corner and was surprised to see a new app by the sokker team, Inter Football Manager

Does anyone know how this is related to sokker? Looks like a more modern version of the game, with new graphics and daily games...
Is that the reason why nothing happens here anymore?
Has anyone tried it yet?

it is a different game for phone/tablet and so on developed using the same ideas which are in sokker: talent, training (a bit different), tactics and so on. But it is a different game, not connected to sokker. Something new.

I am playing it from more or less 1 month, and it is not that bad - considering that it is still under construction.

As it's about a different, uninteresting game, you should have opened the thread in the Freestyle forum, btw.

Not sure how something that gets advertised on Sokker's news page, is being directly link to on the upper right corner of the screen and it basically an updated version of this game here can be called "different and uninteresting", but okay...

Game is pay to win so basically it lost 95% of customers on the first day already.

Inter football manager lite(1 week of free time or something) has been downloaded 1000 times or more so it gained fair bit of attention but as we see full version is only bought/downloaded 10 or more times. So yeah, different and uninteresting is pretty much accurate description to the current scheme of this game.

If you find those games interesting... then good for you. But if you think it is Sokker updated... then I think you might ...

Frankly speaking, i don't really understand your position.

It is true you have to pay something on google play to downolad the app - 3.99 euro if i'm not wrong - and that's all. It really a lot less than sokker VIP - which last only 12 months, while the app doesn't require any further payment, and you can download in different devices (i have on phone and tablet, and of course paid only once).

So, you can dislike the game - of course - but it's not fair to say what it's not true. You pay once for download the app, and that's all. Inside the game, there is no any payment to obtain something more..

Anyhow, if you are talking about the browser/desktop versione of the game, well, in this case you have to pay a fee every three months, or somtehing similar. Again, not to obtain something "more", but just to be able to play.

In my opinion the game has been developed to be an app, and to be played like that. So t is a nonsense to play using browser and pay much more, when you can pay once a not so big price (4 euro) and that's all.

Game has buy tokens option in the browser version and redeem tokens in the mobile. You do realize you can buy the tokens in the browser and then transfer it to your mobile? Thats the problem.

There will always be some 12 year old belgian or swiss kid who has rich parents and is gonna bash your team coz you cant buy as much as he does. Bascially the scheme is following: Buy the app, then see you cant buy tokens in mobile and login via browser. Then buy tokens and log back into app and redeem tokens and get "free" money.

Also that "gaming license" thing. I dont fully understand the logic behind it, but seems like you need to buy new one every month(coz you cant buy tokens via mobile). So in order to succeed in that game you need to be stupid, 7-12 years old and live in a 5 bedroom house.

You are right: the possibility to exchange real money for ifm money is the worst point in the game and I´ll never pay a cent for that. Would feel like cheating.
On the other hand I do like a good challenge, so why not beat some rich investor clubs ;-)
I don´t fear the 12 yo swiss kids - even if they are rich.

My biggest problem at the moment is that I´m ruining my eyes on the smartphone.

No, frankly speaking a didn't realize it. I even didn't imagine it. You are right, it can be a problem. Anyhow there is no way to avoid any stupid 12 years old from any Nation (and rich.. well, hopefully) to cheat, here or in every other game. But for sure the "tokens system" makes the cheating easier.

I'm actually playing the Inter Football Manager app. About 5 minutes per day. Not so bad, and not so interesting. We will see how it will develop in the future, it is just started.

I'm curious about this new game, maybe I will try it...
A question already... I've seen in the description that players have contracts. How does it work exactly ? Does it mean that players can leave your team at the end of their contract and you don't receive any money ?
