Subject: Films
Just watched The Dictator and Borat and omg - thought those films are great fun and also kinda clever - surely with great potential for that.. But instead it seems to be boring, obscene and unreailistic.. With dubbing (horrible habit here) it gets impossible to watch. I am not an usual one, but.. can anyone explain to me why is that so popular?!

I discovered that (about the dubbing) during the second half of Borat when I resigned.. In English it´s possible - just bitter.. .)

F*** SOPA! I call it internet freedom :D Or was I also a criminal when I used cassette tapes to record music or when I used VHS tapes to record movies? ;)
Instead of fighting these torrent and stream sites, the big movie companies like Disney, Sony, Time Warner etc should start these sites themselves and give us the movies for free and earn a lot of money on adds (in different ways), like Megavideo did, like free apps do, like open source software producers do, etc etc. Stop fighting what they will never win, adapt to this century and earn even more as they already do :)

they can do what they want to - believe me, if it was more profittable to them, they would've done it a long time ago.
internet freedom...lol.
I also download stuff from internet, but at least I don't pretend that it is a perfectly fine thing to do :)

I don't think so. Providing movies for free on the internet is not their way of doing business. Large companies don't adapt that easily to new concepts. Often they get stuck on what they know and have always done, while the world is changing. I won't be surpriced if in a couple of years these companies do own torrent and stream sites as they will make a lot of money that way. They have the money to make commercials worldwide and by that push small torrent and stream sites out of business.
A funny joke :)
First you have to know that Tim Kuik is the managing director of the foundation BREIN.
The BREIN foundation is the joint anti-piracy program of authors, artists, publishers, producers and distributors of music, film, games, interactive software and books; ....
Now visit the website: www.f***timkuik.org (I can't type the f word on Sokker, but fill in the *** yourself and see what site you visit) :D
hehehe :P

I doubt it. Consider that even top torrent sites often have problems with finances and need donations.
anyway, it's pointless - you can't download the movies/stream them in a legal way, that's how they choose it to be, ergo if you do it - you break the law.
by your way of argumentation, you could steal apples from your grocery store, because you think that they would make more money if they were giving away one or two apples as a way of promoting the grocery store :-)

one of the best chats ever
Mr. Brown: Let me tell you what 'Like a Virgin' is about. It's all about a girl who digs a guy with a big dick. The entire song. It's a metaphor for big dicks.
Mr. Blonde: No, no. It's about a girl who is very vulnerable. She's been fucked over a few times. Then she meets some guy who's really sensitive...
Mr. Brown: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa... Time out Greenbay. Tell that fucking bullshit to the tourists.
Joe: Toby... Who the fuck is Toby? Toby...
Mr. Brown: 'Like a Virgin' is not about this sensitive girl who meets a nice fella. That's what "True Blue" is about, now, granted, no argument about that.
Mr. Orange: Which one is 'True Blue'?
Nice Guy Eddie: 'True Blue' was a big ass hit for Madonna. I don't even follow this Tops In Pops shit, and I've at least heard of "True Blue".
Mr. Orange: Look, asshole, I didn't say I ain't heard of it. All I asked was how does it go? Excuse me for not being the world's biggest Madonna fan.
Mr. Blonde: Personally, I can do without her.
Mr. Blue: I like her early stuff. You know, 'Lucky Star', 'Borderline' - but once she got into her 'Papa Don't Preach' phase, I don't know, I tuned out.
Mr. Brown: Hey, you guys are making me lose my... train of thought here. I was saying something, what was it?
Joe: Oh, Toby was this Chinese girl, what was her last name?
Mr. White: What's that?
Joe: I found this old address book in a jacket I ain't worn in a coon's age. What was that name?
Mr. Brown: What the fuck was I talking about?
Mr. Pink: You said 'True Blue' was about a nice girl, a sensitive girl who meets a nice guy, and that 'Like a Virgin' was a metaphor for big dicks.
Mr. Brown: Lemme tell you what 'Like a Virgin' is about. It's all about this cooze who's a regular fuck machine, I'm talking morning, day, night, afternoon, dick, dick, dick, dick, dick, dick, dick, dick, dick.
Mr. Blue: How many dicks is that?
Mr. White: A lot.
Mr. Brown: Then one day she meets this John Holmes motherfucker and it's like, whoa baby, I mean this cat is like Charles Bronson in the 'Great Escape', he's digging tunnels. Now, she's gettin' the serious dick action and she's feeling something she ain't felt since forever. Pain. Pain.
Joe: Chew? Toby Chew?
Mr. Brown: It hurts her. It shouldn't hurt her, you know, her pussy should be Bubble Yum by now, but when this cat fucks her it hurts. It hurts just like it did the first time. You see the pain is reminding a fuck machine what it once was like to be a virgin. Hence, 'Like a Virgin'.
Joe: Wong?
