Subject: »[info]Dev Diary #82: Automatic release of NT-players from

2020-06-30 00:00:36
You "think" you're smart here?

1st, you only have 10 slots
2nd: you will not buy old players cause you do not want to waste money so you will buy good alternatives that will play but will not be trained

I'm afraid you don't seem to understand the concept of sokker :-s
OR you buy younger players, which you can train, OR you buy older players which you don't...
2020-06-30 04:26:24
i understand concept of sokker and i understand the game have many ways to play ...
i have semi final in CL with rating less than 70 what you have?
and what i understand this rule will limit one of the ways to play the game train NT players..

ok 10 slots even worst is mistake i did but seems you do not want to understand what i say so i will not try to convince you its not possible.
I will give example though for those that want to understand.
so to have good team rich teams will but great nt starts from small nations that they will not be trained..

for them they will be players that will fill holes in team but for small nations such players can be trained now even to age of 30 yes its not profitable but makes the Nt stronger

now lots of good player will just filling gaps ..
2020-06-30 20:27:05
You will be able do have more diversity in your training, so that mean you can train 10 players much more accurate to their needs... Something you cannot now... The lesser players will never be trained on what they really need, so in general the NT players now are trained worse than you will be able to with the new system.
2020-06-30 20:35:14
well i assume you do not read what i post and do not switch topic!
new training will be same you have again 10 slots avg we do not talk about it now!
i talk about effect on transfer window forcing teams having long bench will cause good players potential NT stars to not be trained in rich teams. so if you will just spam and not respond properly i will ask you to not respond on every comment i do
2020-06-30 20:47:24
You are talking about 20 things in 1 sentence... Most people cannot understand properly what you mean.

This one's a good example:I will give example though for those that want to understand.
so to have good team rich teams will but great nt starts from small nations that they will not be trained..

Sure, you talked about the transfer window a few posts back, but you jump on new branches with every line.
As usual, you're very focused on "change" and how it's a bad thing... You're not even willing to give it a try.

I've observed a few teams using players in corner positions to avoid them getting injured. I think this is against fair play and should be stopped. Can we add a rule that any player who uses these kinds of tactics must be severely penalized in the form of maybe finance? For example, he won't get any sponsorship money for the next 3 weeks and maybe can't trade players for the next 3 weeks as well. The opponent should be given the option of reporting that player.

why would it be a problem??? it is done mostly during friendly games.
2020-07-01 20:29:13
i think that such users should be banned!

You should look at the origin of the problem: injuries are too harmful for the training.

I already proposed that injured players could train the minutes played. Also, friendlies could be played in a "relaxed" way, producing less amount of injuries

This way the risk of losing the whole week training due to an injury in a friendly would be reduced to an insignificant percentage
2020-07-02 04:00:14
Well cannot punish people for making fancy tactics no matter what the intentions are .... but should try understand why they do it? well if half of users in sokker playing safe in friendlies it means there is a problem...
@KautukP probably you did not have much exp in sokker but once you have 10 injures for 3 games all in training positions you will start considering such approach..
2020-07-02 04:03:05
friendlies could be like arcades to clear injuries after i would suggest that than any punishments

@dasanchez86: why would it be a problem??? it is done mostly during friendly games.

It's not fair play.

@slavista: i think that such users should be banned!

That would be too extreme I guess. We don't want players to be too angry with Sokker.

I know injuries are harmful for training but everyone will get the hit at some point or another right? It's really unfair if one team plays with the proper team (risking his players to get a good game) and the other places its players in the corner position. I agree with the part where you mentioned giving the option of playing in a 'relaxed' way. Many games give the option of setting the mentality of players for a particular game such as Offensive, Defensive, Passive, etc. @Raul Sokker can consider this.

Maybe the DEVs can consider reducing the frequency/duration of injuries but regardless of that, this kind of cheating should not be allowed. It gives an unfair advantage to teams who use these tactics.

first injuries are random and unfortunately may hit same teams over and over again...
second this is not cheating how you will prove the intonations of user maybe he wanted to win this way
on top ive seen 3 injuries in safe tactics as well ...
If this is cheating then any good tactics that wins is cheating as well cause its exploits the weakens of sokker ..
2020-07-02 07:15:15
Bingo! you hit the nail! It is the problem on the game side, not on the user side. Players will play with the same determination both in the World cup final and in the friendly. I think we found another bug in the game! Hello Raul, where are you?
2020-07-02 07:18:42
I don't use it, but there is no advantage when everyone can choose that approach... I can't see why is not fair play, though.

If one team plays against other team using the corners, there would be also a reduced probability of injuries for both teams.

The all-in-the-corner team is also sacrificing ranking points and supporter's mood, which translate to money.

Injuries are good anyway, that's like real life, as long as you play games, you are exposed to it... and it is a challenge to overcome those situations.
