"the default camera position will reflect the 2D one"
No worries, the 2D view will still be possible.

Well, not exactly.
For now we have 2 engines (2D + 3D). The next engine will be one 3D engine (the camera setup will mimic 2D), that 's not a detail : if the 3D engine dont work well (in term of compatibly and performance), like it already happens for the actual 3D engine for some users, there will be no escape : no 3D, and no more 2D.
What's worry me is 3D engine (particularly UNITY engine) can eat a lot of ressources, the risk is too loose accessibility that was a "master feature" for many users that keep playing Sokker during years.

Current viewers work with flash... the new one won't and so it will be much more stable than the current one.
Believe me when I say you won't miss the current one...

We have 2D and 3D.
Next, in a month or two, we will have only 2D (not Flash).
After that, summer/fall next year, we will have only 3D with default camera positioned like the camera from 2D.
So, we will have a 2D that is not in flash, but it will get removed. I guess maintenance is the reason.

That could be true, but I guess that will be tested. I don't think they will implement it if there is even a small chance that the 3D engine if performance or compatibility would be worse, that would definitely be bad.
Tolis6520's was worried about the tactical part of the 2D-viewer wich won't be much different (if you use the default camera) according to the last Dev. Diary, so I was mostly referring to that part in my previous answer.

well,i don't want to be negative all the time, and i'm, hoping for the best,
i just see no 2D viewer in the pictures, and some cubes to push the ball around is not an option for this game.
And also we need to help those guys who want to build the new sokker or a new game.

I believe it would be nicer from the devs to kepp the 2d for a while when the new 3d get implemented, that would help to make the transition from what we are used to see to the new engine less "traumatic" in lack of a better word.
Come on guys, have some faith. The current engine is traumatic enough.
I guess cubes won't be 2d viewer, that's the highest camera. No one is going to see that camera.
3D looks nice! but I hope it's clean and fluent, not like footballstrategy. I don't understand how that viewer can exist.

I guess the cubes were an intermediary step to get the final version of the viewer, which seems not finished. Look at the goals, they are also "cubes"

Correct, its not a cube view.
James summarized well - we will first introduce current viewer 2d with no flash technology, and last dev diary is about next step - new viewer. In case of any problems with new one (like to much resources consuming) there will be still a back up option. But we think it wont be necessery.

I hope and i wish the best in your work guys ))
Yes the 3D seems nice, but we wait to see to co operate with the tactical part too, like the
2D viewer we have

Main camera in new viewer will work exactly like in current 2d viewer (so i till not work at all, static, panoramic view for all field), so no worries about that:)
Can you please write to me what you know on topic, i tried unsuccessfully on topic Questions/Answers on Int.
How fact that player played at least once for his U21 or NT team affects on number of spectators of the game that he plays? I think there were some unofficial numbers of 2% spectators more on that game, are they true, if not what is rule for now and how it will be after big update of the game?
thanks

Honestly i dont know. And i’m not sure that we want that kind of details to be official rules - i belive that some part of the game should be discovered for your own :)
well never had a clue that affects attending of games but with so many factors affecting crowd so that is almost impossible to calculate or discover :(
i agree that some things needs to dig and discover them on our own but for this if its true
at least some tips should be in the rules
