Subject: »[info]Dev Diary #82: Automatic release of NT-players from

I mean, the way I see is that in the top leagues, in order to be competitive, teams needs to hire players from 21+ yo., which leads to pay a lot for these players. The profit from 17 to 21 usually is much more than the profit from 21 to 25.

You are absolutely right.

As I remember If a player in the training slot, doesnt play, he will train only 70%, which all we know that with this % is never gon a be a super star.

It could be 70%, but they didn't say that, and they won't. It's a secret.

The thing that I see as a potential problem is how many old players will people use. 50% more matches, so you should need more players, but training capacity stays the same (10 players), even smaller if you take into account pace training. Need for more players might be an issue.

No, you dont need more players. Maybe use less players. And as I said it dependes on implementation.

The friendly matches will be replaced by an extra league match then you dont need to have (as the current system works) 6 extra players If u train mids or def; or 8 extra players If u train atts or 10 extra players If u train gks.
Now u just will need 1 very good substitution for each position. Whic actually is the same minimum need in the actual system.

You can actually reduce team size....

But what about injuries? Well, they would need to reduce to half the injury probability or the injury time

That might be the way you want to play, not everyone else.

But we will see. I hope that they will talk a bit more about the new system after they replace Flash, to give us a complete picture because there are still things that we don't know: injuries, stamina training, etc.

But when it comes to keeping the current training system, that's a done deal. I was against the new system, but changed mind. I don't like the impact it will have on the market, but they will give us options to boost YS. Sounds good to me.

I agree with what the Nerazzurro says. The most important thing is that, whoever does not like the new training system, can always continue training as he is doing now. The new training system will be more flexible. That is its great novelty. But it will not benefit some users more than others. Everyone will be made the senior team. If you have a team and decide to train the 10 players in the main line-up, what will happen to you is that when they turn 31 you will not have any young people and you will have to rejuvenate the whole team, with which you will go down to more categories. low. Same as it happens now.

The new training system is more flexible and, above all, more logical. With the current training system, there are inconsistencies such as people who train technical for ATT and have to put them with MID order so that they train 5 players. Have you tried explaining that to a new user? I am a tutor and it is very difficult to make him understand.

For new users, the new training system will be much easier to understand.

I also agree with _James that the new training system will surely affect the transfer market. But as it will affect all users equally, we will simply have to adapt. Everybody.

Well said!

Yes Oliver, but those inconsistencies don't allow you to train young defenders, midfielders and strikers.
Now, you'll be able to train strikers since, midfielders and defenders 24 o 25y.. all of them superstars. So, you team will never becaome old and your level 'll be almost impossible to reach...

That's the point!

That is when comes to the picture that they will make more difficult to create super star. How they will do it? Big question.
2020-12-13 22:17:15
I agree totally about the adaptation factor. the way that the training was built until now was making the users sell the players that were not fitting in the plan. the same will happen now in its own way.

plus it is a fact that the current training system is flawed..why train only certain abilities in certain positions and not several players in different lines?..

I think that with the new way we will see more superteams and it will be more fan to build the players from a very young age but of course we will have to check how this will impact the cost (which is also going to change somehow) all those years I have always wondered why they didn't change it already and here we come..it is more like common sense.

+1 totally agree.

for people that do not have time for market will be perfect! Also right now if you have 2 super young talented players with opposite distribution you are forced to sell one of them. So with new system you can balance them and build several NT players at the same time. In this aspect i can wait to be implemented.
Only think i do not like is so many games per week..

+1 but I hope they won't add more matches per week.
2020-12-14 08:01:47
I agree with your point of view since I also never had too much time for transfer search..

also the too many games per week may be an issue..we will see how this rolls when it happens..

Another CC is coming, we will once again have many bots because nations are losing a spot due to one team winning both league and cup. Again, there will be only 1 Polish team in CC, I think there should always be 3.

If I remember correctly, you announced a change, how's it going :)

So with new system you can balance them and build several NT players at the same time.

A max 10 slots, 10 players, not even a whole team. For sure that's more freedom, in theory.

But in practice...

if you "only" train 10 NT players you can't train the others : at term, you need to sell all your NT players and "re buy" lower NT to renew a team. (just because with "only" 10 slots you can't train and renew a team during time). That's why the 10 slots limit will always force us to make compromises again and again; training plan more is far more important than challenging plan in sokker.

For me 22 slots for full training + greatly reduce the progression (of the full training) was a better compromise and interesting reform.

Anyway, it's December, and the main focus is : making the actual sokker just functional :-)
