That mean max 12 players with low training.
Plus, position limits ( max 2 gks, max 6 strikers... )
Not so flexible, in fact :-)

I remember that long time ago when we had more than 70.000 users it wasn’t easy to be day-trader because of one simple reason and that was amount of people in the game so market didn’t give day-traders much chance to buy/sell quickly and earn lot of money. It wasn’t so easy to find big bargain. So half of this day-trading problem will be solved if we gain new users :)
Second part of problem in my opinion is salaries. Lately player prices raise 2 times from prices that was here 10 years ago and salaries are still the same and they are not big factor anymore. They were never big factor but now they are even smaller. So with right adjustment of finance (salaries, prizes, stadium income...) you can solve even more than only day-trading.
So this two things in combination will solve 99% of day-trading issues we are facing now and it will solve it without using any hard rule.

You heard the man. The main goal of the 4-weeks-rule is not to stop the daytrading but to change the gamestyle. It is similar to the training system or system of players' skills. It is how the game will be now.
The game is too easy :)
Everybody just keeps growing. There are not setbacks. In order to fail you really need to try to fail. This is why we he a ton of big clubs, and many can afford to be aggressive on the market. There was a time when you hoped that few managers will be interested in your player, and get into a bidding war. If you were selling a star player, you wondered if a of couple people will have enough money to push the bidding to a proper value. Now, traders don't have to worry about customers, every player is a hot item.
We need money sinks (retirement of coaches is the best, I think), so that money could stop piling up.
We also need setbacks for top competitors. Mechanism that will force us to take risks (maybe money for winning championships), and then to make cuts if we fail. Now, if a big team fails, they just rebuild and come back stronger. We need to make that less lucrative, higher stadium maintenance would help with that.
Money sink is the most important thing, we have too many "Real Madrids" in the game.

Rather than easy I would say that the game is very predictable. Juytt made some good comments some time ago in order to break this predictability, not sure if the devs had a look at it. Most obvious is the very linear players progression, but you can also just keep growing as you said, staff, stadium, buy / sell players...
But when I see that most users want more control on the few unpredictable things (form and injury) I believe that the majority of us just want to keep this boring linear system.
Too bad :)

If you really want a money sink, then I suggest to increase the player wages with 200%, but have a better league sponsorship income and other income, like merchandising and promotion, championhip income...
This way you need to deliver results in order to be able to pay your players wages...
FE, a 3th division team won't be able to have 2 triple divine strikers and 5 double divine defenders with a decent midfield since their income won't be enough to [keep] pay[ing] for it. But if you take a risk and you're able to promote, you might be able to keep them and pay for their salaries...

This is exactly my suggestion, to "force" managers to fight for higher positions all the time - it would be more fun for all of us
@Raul i have an observation about injuries that if a def plays with MID orders or MID with def orders or striker with def orders the chance of injuries are higher is that a correct statement ?
If that is true i assume will be match harder to train 2 midfielders on opposite skills can you provide info about injuries what affects them and are they pure random?

not all, I know many people (me among them), who don't agree
