not all, I know many people (me among them), who don't agree
2020-12-23 11:01:43
I think that favors week to week winners. If you get promoted, how are you gonna survive with the sharks?

I want infrastructure to be more of a thing in the game, and to have high maintenance. That is how I would put stress on top competitors. I don't want to force a team that is in building to sell his players because they have big salaries. How is this good, "Oh, you trained you players too well, now you must sell them because they are too good for you?" And who is gonna get those players, top teams. Nah, you put effort in training, you should enjoy the fruits.
2020-12-23 14:22:04
But if you put high maintenance for everyone...how will the lesser teams handle that? You have a nice building but you cannot afford the cost... lets sell the building?

That example makes no sense, If you have high level facilities then you don't have a weak club.
If you actually have a weak club, focus on young players, and build your franchise.
If you have a strong team. and you drop down to train 16-yo players, then you have an issue. That is the point of this.

Things I mentioned up are big gameplay changes, and they need to be fleshed out. But retirement of coaches, as a money sink, would be a great change. Everyone would lose some money, Weaker teams would learn to recruit more optimal coaches. And with less money in the game, salaries would be more relevant. I think that is the first step to normalize the economy.

Raul to Dtox9
i think that real problem is acumulating money in sokker (inflation).
Its coused by team rotation (new users leave their starting money and quit) combined with current base of users (money is cumulated in 9k teams, while in the past similar money was spreaded for 50-70k teams).

there are not to many solutions to reduce money in sokker - probably one of the best now is coach recruitment - but most of users have great trainers, and no need to recriuit new (as there are no retirement, thats why we need to introduce it finally), taxes are a bit low (maybe we should introduce higher taxes from expensive transfers), or our idea with youth school is also a solution to introduce more options of spending money.

i think (but im not sure) its completly random - i'd also train one mid on def possition currently and nothing bad happens.
With so large database there is always an option that you will see some correlation with different factors on yourr team level, but in most cases its just a coincidence, as long as its not a global rule easy to find in most of teams.

Well, If you were sitting on your money, tanking more money from young players or offensive tranfer policy, then you have a wealthy club [financial] and supporters mood or thoughts are irrelevant if you don't care about the sportive side of your club.

There is a big difference in this game between strong teams and wealthy teams...
I, for one, always tried to have the best of both sides...training young players, from which, mostly half were from my own youth squad and with those players and at least 1 top notch GK and a great non-trainee line I tried to compete to achieve the best possible sportive outcome, since, for me, it's primarly a football game, not an economical game.
But with all seasons passed by, the economical coaches are benefitted the most, by far!
So, for those teams, your proposition is excellent, yet controversal, cause the game didn't oppose that kind of strategy for 15 years!

Now, IF you say, make a money sink for all teams, my team and all other managers who always tried to compete to achieve the best, are instantaniously disadvantaged and we WILL sink down to become a poor team...

I do 5 to 8 transfers on average each season...
I gain my fun on making tactics and watching the game being played by my team, which often is equipped with 30 to 40% own youth players or Belgian hot prospects...
Making this rule will make me a poor team, especially compared to economical coaches...

I have mentioned before we could use some medical center to treat injuries, so related to that, why don't make a "generate doctor" just like the coach recruitment? that would give new ways to spend money, without make the inflation worst in the market.
2020-12-23 20:32:48
What can I say. When you invest more in competitive side, your club gets weaker financially, I am in that stage.

I am not trying to force people to play the way I think the game should be played, I am just trying to propose something that would make the game fair for new users. I think it's great that new users can grow their clubs via training, but it sucks that top teams can do the same again and again, and always stay few steps ahead.

bal to Dtox9
I am completely with dtox9 on this because the same thing happens to my team..trying to compete using 3-4 homegrown players and not having too much time to trade players for profit leaves the team in a slightly above 0 financial overall balance...if you increase the cost, teams like my own (and I believe that most teams are like this) will have to reduce their squads' quality in order to cope with the increased cost and the managers that were building their wealth all those years will be even more benefited comparing to all others. after all the current cost that brings the 0 balance comes from the expensive wages of the players that we train for years and end up expensive or older good players that we buy cheaper to play for 1-2 seasons and then leave for free and the cost of our coaching staff which consumes the half of our budget.

it is a fact that there is a crazy increase in the player costs in the market..but it can be balanced by bringing more users on board after some time and not by adding up to the current wage cost of the teams.

+5% tax if a player is sold within a 16 (or 13) weeks of his last transfer.

Two birds with one stone :)

Traders and inflation are going down :D
2020-12-23 21:56:10
Mate ..i think your idea about the money is completly wrong!
I don't know if there are rich ppl in the game,i decide to sell 3 times all my players and start again
to have some money to play the game!!
If som1 want to be in the highest division must spend a lot of money to get a decent team.

I spend 20millions to find 2 unearthly coaches in lottary!
If i want to stay in the highest division i must keep my best training defenders!!
(i'm training defence)
So,from where i can earn money??
Academies is a joke ofc, talents are very rare to come ...
Buy and sell is the top disadvantage of this game, coz som1 must stay a lot of hours
if he want to buy a decent player or he must spend a lot in bid.

We had this discussion before. Most teams have around 0 balance. The player and trainer wages are already huge. The only way yo make profit is to (train and) trade.

@Raul, adding more expenses is fighting on the wrong end. You need to fight extensive trading.
2020-12-24 11:15:55
The only way yo make profit is to (train and) trade.

+1 That's where to find mostly inflation.

Training because the system is predictable and growing in a linear way over times (up to 30y)

Trading, for the 2 main reasons :
- (most of )users dont have a clue about the "true" market prices.
- (most of) users just prefer to buy one f* player whatever the price than spending their times in a bidding war ^^

After that we can see two solutions :

- skills should stop growing in a linear way, start low finish high. That mean a brand new skills and training system. That mean a revolution in sokker :)
- Changing the market system. Another true revolution in sokker.

In the end, we know, devs plan is not a revolution but matching the current sokker system. It's ok.
But Inflation will be partially limited with constraints and rules everywhere that annoy all the players and that won't solve the problems at the base.
2020-12-24 13:04:26
inflation is because of the offer-demand mechanism and ammount of the money in the circulation. Trading is just a mean of circulation, not the cause of inflation

I've read about the possibility of pausing or skip live matches. I would like it not to be possible until after the game. It can lose the excitement of live. It should work like now...only possible after the match.
