users who want fast play will not stay for long anyway. So the only good from that would be the stats:
"Yay! we have 100 000 users. Hooray!"
and then in small font:
(only 1000 accounts are older than 1 month)

We want users that are interested to stay longer in the game. To master the tactics (not like me :D). Tactics should be the way to top, not trading. Tactics should be rewarded more. Promotion money for example? But balances so one does not promote and relegate every other season.

Many people here started to play as children or young people and sticked with the game for many years until nowadays. Ignoring young generation now would be the same mistake as ignoring young generation back then.

By improving the current game we can have more.
But changing the game completely will have nothing.

The devs are in a tricky position.

If they drastically change the game, many current old users will leave without any guarantee they will attract enough new users.
So I think they are right to focus first on the current users base.

Actually the number of users is not really dropping now, we have even more and more new users who keep playing.
Just need to stop the bleeding and I think this is on the good way.

There are lot of manager games with daily matches now. I don't think Sokker can compete with those even with 2 league matches per week. Better to focus on a niche as a game based on long-term strategy and advanced tactics. HT is doing pretty well in that niche, and Sokker is a potentially much better game with its graphic match simulation. It just needs some improvements in details and better marketing. But apparently the devs have decided on a different strategy and want to make Sokker more of a compromise between faster games and the classic Sokker. I don't particularly like that, but we'll see how it goes.

I totally disagree with the reduction of the season weeks..faster game is neither better nor more attractive for youngsters..there are other things to do in order to keep the newbies and bring more..sokker has its character and it should keep it apart from the updates in some fields like the training that were totally needed

+1 improve just graphics for now: for players, stadiums, kits, facilities, bureau, matches etc...my 10 year old nephew loves games with well designed items/things you can get or buy.

agree with you bal. On the other hand having leagues with 12 teams will provide more emotion, also the quantity of divisions may be reduced, closing a little bit the gap between countrie's sizes, also will make the game more dynamic as there will be more options to be promoted I imagine. I think we will lose something but get some others things

Does someone else has issues to watch today match in 2d on movil? I just got the lineup screen but the match never start.

No one says to give up from young generation but drastically speed up the game is not the way
Also making funny icons as they tried in the past as well.
Yes for interactive tutorials more precise help
But no to speedy game :(
Even new changes with 3 games per week are not ok for me but have to deal with it :(

Ive been here 16 years , and this season has annoyed me a lot

My tactics are an absolute mess for no reason in some games , and the amount of injuries I'm seeing just isn't Acceptable

I will stay for another season or 2 to see how all the changes are implemented and how they affect the game , but trying to do too much too soon will only turn many users away

There only needed to be minor tweaks as the game on the whole is excellent
